Ip Man's peaceful life in Foshan changes after Gong Yutian seeks an heir for his family in Southern China. Ip Man then meets Gong Er who challenges him for the sake of regaining her family's honor. After the Second Sino-Japanese War, Ip Man moves to Hong Kong and struggles to provide for his family. In the mean time, Gong Er chooses the path of vengeance after his father was killed by Ma San.

It's a very very very beautiful film, and there is maybe the most beautiful kung-fu battle EVER !

There is a third movie about Ip Man?

Well now I'll have to track it down.

Well, i've never seen the others... Are they good ?

Ip Man and its sequel are pretty highly acclaimed although you take it with the grain of salt that they're as much Chinese propaganda pieces as movies.

Ip Man and Ip Man 2 were awesome movies. Ip Man 3 was a prequel, and it was a soap drama piece of crap. This is actually the fourth one I think.
