As I said in the teasing-thread: YES!
I love Survival Horror-games, but good current-gen Survival Horror is hard to come by. And it's by Mikami himself... Really looking forward to this~
Join us in our quest to play all RPG video games! Moving on to disc 2 of Grandia! The monsters are cute!
No news it good news it seems.
(I jest, I jest, but I need more information here. This just looks like Silent Hill WITH SQUARE HEADS! THE HORROR THE HORROR*)
This post has been powered by avenging fury and a balanced diet.Nothing very remarkable here right now. Since's theres no gameplay footage to judge all I can say is that it looks like Bethseda and Mikami were inspired by movies like the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Saw, the Evil Dead, 13 Ghosts, etc.
Oh Bethesda, what lengths you will go to to ignore Nintendo platforms. Seriously. Everything but Wii U?
Oh hey this might actually be a horror game. Neat.
-Looks at logo-
Is that a brain covered in barbed wire with an ominous building as a stem? Fucking ouch.
Could they have chosen a more boring name? Sorry, but I don't see anything to get excited about here.

You mean a boring name like... The Evil Dead?
Jonah FalconOne of the "screenshots" has The War Z zombies shopped into it:

Didn't The War Z steal art directly from The Walking Dead? So they ripped off a ripoff...
Well, the brain doesn't feel pain, so no biggie.
this place needs me hereSounds good to me, we haven't had a Silent Hill game since 2004.

I thought Book of Memories was pretty good.
Follow me on Twitter, I'm pretty awesome http://www.twitter.com/ZekeFreekEh, I don't decry it for being different, but the Karma Meter mechanics were way too convoluted for my tastes.
Homecoming was pretty good though. I still need to play Downpour.
Downpour doesn't suck. :p
Jonah FalconDownpour is okaaaaaaaaaay. Not great. I didn't like Homecoming.
Follow me on Twitter, I'm pretty awesome http://www.twitter.com/ZekeFreekI didn't mind Shattered Memories too much, either.
...On closer inspection of the trailer...
The Evil Within seems to indicate that the man making the barbed wire is the source of the creatures. When he pricks his finger, his blood transforms into that thing.
Also, it's not a reference to Silent Hill Pyramid Head. That box is a vault. If the theme is Your Mind Makes It Real, scaring things spewing out of the vault when it opens...

Jonah FalconNo, it's not a reference to Pyramid Head, it's a ripoff of a parody of Pyramid Head that appeared as an easter egg in a Silent Hill spinoff game.

Thats... Weird
Looks fairly interesting. While I'm still not a fan of live action trailers, this one was better than a few I've seen.
The trailer reminds me of one of those fake movie trailers from Grindhouse.
WTF was that? Oh, developer Shinji Mikami (Resident Evil, Resident Evil 4).
Hello, Mr. Nightmare Fuel. Seems like Bethesda wants their own version of Silent Hill.
