MajorVsMinor: An experimental music project by Oleg Berg

A friend of mine introduced me to this one really nifty You Tube channel. This channel hosts a variety of songs, mostly popular songs, but with a catch—if they were in a major key, they have been shifted into a minor key, and vice versa. It's pretty cool to check out.

Some of my favorites:

• "Hey Jude" in Minor Key by The Beatles (the most popular one on the channel, though not the best one in my honest opinion)
• "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" in Major Key" by the Eurythmics
• "The Happy Godfather", or, the theme from The Godfather in Major Key (possibly the most amusing of all of these—and the comments on it are hilarious)
• "House of the Rising Sun" in Major Key by The Animals (my personal favorite...well, okay, along with the Godfather one)
• Theme from Super Mario Bros in Minor Key. (One of two video game songs on the channel, the other being the Tetris theme in Major Key.)

They also have a Bandcamp page on which you can download them, as well as listen to others that aren't on the You Tube channel.
