Dumbest Person In Power Rangers Ever.
Jungle Fury is airing.
Mileena MadnessWORST REDO OF A RANGER EVER.
Seriously, Ong Bak had just come out and you had a Ranger that did Muay Thai. Nope!
Dai Shi killed the stream
Mileena MadnessThe guy (Chris Sims) doing the Ranger Station column at Comics Alliance made a gallery ranking the Power Rangers series from worst to best. Alien Rangers is at the bottom more or less because it was only ten episodes, which is more of a technicality than anything. Mostly, I was just surprised to see Samurai rank so highly.
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.I'm surprised Lightspeed Rescue and Zeo rank so low. Like, Lower than Mystic Force and Turbo? Zeo Lower than Megaforce? Also surprised by how high Ninja Storm is.
RPM is now airing.
Mileena MadnessZeo was fun, but a lot of the storylines just felt like it went everywhere at times. In Space felt like it had a more consistent storyline as well as character episodes, where the characterization really shined the most, and that's also when we started to get far better characterization in general. It did help that 4 of the Rangers already had a bit to work with during Turbo, but they were all shunned in favor of good ole' Blue.
Lightspeed Rescue was amazing, though. It had consistent characterization for both the heroes and the villains. Neither dropped the ball in that regard. I will be fair, though, Lost Galaxy has some fairly bad characterization for the Rangers. The Villains were far more notable in comparison.
That said, it's just an opinion. Nostalgia doesn't work for everyone. As noted by Tobias Drake's overviews, a lot of stuff in previous seasons had issues. While I disagree that LR should be that low, you have to keep in mind that people have different opinions for different reasons. If they've seen every season and don't rank one high you like? So what. They didn't get the same feeling from it as you did. I watched every season from the start.
Also, all I'm seeing is a few snippets. Were reasons given? Looking at it, there's many ways to really rank the seasons. Good zord battle music?(a lot of seasons dropped this ball) Good characterization? Stories that feel very consistent and don't tend to come out of nowhere with plots? Etc.
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.Megaforce is about to end.
Mileena MadnessStream didn't show the fight with the emperor although he wasn't exactly all that interesting to begin with...
Mileena MadnessIf we're talking about when he refused to get up from his chair, that was the best part of Super Megaforce.
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.Then, he got up and was killed in a ship explosion :/
Mileena MadnessDino Charge is still airing.
lol

Mileena MadnessThe whole fight should have been carried out while he was in his chair. If the series's gonna be lazy, let the villain be lazy, too.
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position. So JDF accidentally got himself kicked out of the movie's premiere

So for those who havent followed, Ricardo Medina (Cole, the Wild Force Red Ranger and Deker in Samurai) got convicted for the killing of his roommate with a sword. Earlier this month he pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter charges. He got a 6 year jail sentence today.

...What kind of sword?
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.A replica Conan Sword AFAIK
Well, better to admit his guilt than anything else. Sucks that kind of thing happened, though.
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.I heard Power Rangers Ninja Steel was to be a Netflix exclusive in the United States, but apparently Netflix dropped those plans because it won't allow the series to release new episodes weekly. Was that the real reason, or was it something else that had to do with Ninja Steel not being exclusive to Netflix in the U.S.?
The initial official announcement about the show (Not counting the fans looking at the trademark being filed) came from Nickelodeon itself. So no clue where that rumour came from.
Mmkay, question. Having never seen Megaforce, I know that the appearances of the pre-Sentai powers were Hand Waved as Rangers from other planets, and this was received extremely badly. Might I ask why? We already knew the Rangers were an interplanetary organization, right?
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Because a) these powers were still never seen in the show prior to Megaforce
b) the only reason they appear is because of the Sentai footage
and c) the way they are handled is another example of missed opportunities to do world building. We could have had an episode of the Rangers learning of the origin of these powers and the teams that wielded them but they just appear out of nowhere with zero fan fare. Linkara even proposed such an idea in his review of Megaforce.
Using never before seen Ranger powers wasn't a bad idea, but the way it was handled left much to be desired.

Honestly I always liked the headcanon of Rangers operating outside of America. Like Bioman, for example. The show was huge in France. What if in PR the Bioman equivalent were a team of French heroes? Or the Changeman equivalent Brazilian? Etc.
Saying Super Megaforce bungled it was an understatement.
