Countdown: 4 Weeks, 5 Days

It was a bright and sunny day in New York City, and from the unusual and blatant noise from the crowds below, Kyrian knew that today was a special day.

Kyrian, from the human perspective was a well thought out man. He had his own electrical company, followed by a very promising future in the oil industry coming right at him. For what else would you expect from the current Overlord of Hell? A desk job? No, Kyrian wasn’t like that, he wanted power. Money. Glory! That was his main purpose in this life, and that was what he demanded that he would get. His eyes, as blue as the sky above him, where glued a piece of paper that nearly struck him silent. Then after a few moments of him examining the paper to make sure that he was reading the right thing. After a few moments of endlessly scanning, he turned his head away from the paper and sighed. This was unprecedented. An inmate from the Underworld had figured out the weakness of his hell and had broken out. It was a feat that was never accomplished before in his six million year old life span. The only one ever to exploit his imperfection was his boss.

"Do you understand now?" a man beside him said as he retrieved the papers from Kyrian and tucked it into his suit. The man's name was Vincent Burke, the gunslinger of the Hunter Corps. The group that was handpicked by Kyrian to make sure that the Underworld would stay locked up nice and tight.

"Yes..." Kyrian replied with another sigh as he wiped the sweat off his brow. If his boss where to find out, it would be the end of him. "... I want you to go down there to make sure that no one leaves again. Secure the dimension, replenish the flaw, and make sure that Victor is put into a brand new form of torture.” the raw voice of fear that came from the King’s mouth astonished Vincent, “If I hear of someone escaping again, it will be on your head.”

"You can't kill the dead." Vincent said with a snort as he put his hands in his pockets, then leaned casually on his left knee. Showing little to no fear to the Demon King.

"Then you bring the Corps with you." Kyrian said as he leaned back on his chair, "You bring everyone down there and you hunt down that bastard before he causes a mess larger than myself."

Vincent nodded his head and turned around, "Is that all that you wish?"

"Nothing more." Kyrian said as he snapped his fingers, making a shuddering noise appear behind Vincent. When the man turned to look, he saw a black hole the size of his body just floating behind him, "And make sure that you send my regards to Drevis."

Vincent clenched his fists, holding his tongue against his boss "What should I say?"

"Tell him..." Kyrian said as he leaned forward to pick a rose from the table's vase, "...that the boss-man had fun defiling his wife."

Vincent scoffed and walked into the black hole, dreading the assignment given to him. It was hard enough that he was the one that put Victor there, but now...he was the one to make sure he stays.

All that beside, the bulk of the RP will take place in the Underworld where you, the prisoners, are trapped in hell for the treacherous crimes in your evil past. Each of you have your own personal hell you put your characters in. And on the first post, you will break out. Be creative. Don't half ass it. It's hell, not the county jail.

During your trek to freedom you will see these people, or creatures, that have fallen so far into despair that their entire being is contorted into pure regret and hatred. Be wary of them. For they are Dissidents, and they are creatures that you can’t sidestep or maneuver around. Once they know you’re there, you need to run.

Now as for characters, I have no issue with what you pick for powers, (I will tell you if a power is just too much.) but remember that you've been trapped in hell for a long ass time. So you'll be rusty and very, very fatigued when you start off. I don't really care about races when it comes to what your character is. For all I care, you can be an ork with a little mixture of angel in him, idfc. Weapons are also allowed, but they like the powers, will need to be toned down to a point

Make it interesting for each other. Don't just rely on the fighting, but rely on how you interact with the other inmates. For that, in turn, will decide how your battle with Kyrian will be later.

If we ever reach New York City, then I guess that will be when the 'Countdown' ends.

I will edit and add more things to this post if people grow interested in the basic gif of the RP. Thank for taking your time in reading this, and if you see anything wrong with it, please point it out for me. I want this to be fun for you and me.

After that happens you meet in the first area to meet the other players where you can either go alone or join the group.

Very straightforward, with a few twists.

• Name: Gwyn D'Reyva

• Age: 17. He cannot remember his full age, so he simply says "Gwyn D'Reyva, age seventeen".

• Species: Half-Human, with his father being a "divine being" of some sort.

• Appearance: Gwyn is a rather odd, contradictory set of traits combined into one man. He has an effeminately handsome face that, alone, could get him mistaken for a pretty girl. Despite this appearance, he has a very toned, muscular body covered with a large number of scars.Despite having a face that looks like it'd be suited for giving nice looking smiles, he's always frowning. Gwyn wears a small sized white long sleeved shirt, black leather pants and boots. He has bright red hair, and dark gray eyes that seem to be constantly set to "Dull Eyes of Unhappiness". He is a very tall young man, standing at six foot seven inches.

• Weapon: He wields what looks like something that was once a far longer sword, but was broken, and is now a short sword with a jagged edge.

• Powers: For Gwyn, his blood is also a weapon. In that, he can manipulate his blood and form it into almost anything, and with any density and sharpness. He can even "harden" his blood to become tougher and augment his blows. Tying into this is a required secondary power, namely, a healing factor that guarantees he has a steady supply of his own blood to use as an arsenal of deadly weapons.
  • In the King of Flame personality, his fighting style changes drastically. Instead of blood weapons, he creates highly destructive plumes of fire.

• Personality: Gwyn is, as covered, a living mass of contradictions. Despite his stoic and scowling appearance, he genuinely tries to be as nice as humanly possible to atone for his crimes. Despite this, he enjoys fighting and testing his mettle against people, as if there is nothing really wrong with that. There is, though, the blatant fact that something really, really bad happened to Gwyn, in that despite all his niceness, he is somewhat pessimistic and has a strange philosophy; "There's no meaning in life, there's no inherent worth in anything...so lets make some meaning...some worth."
  • He has an alternate personality called the King of Flames, though, which is almost the exact opposite. He is always smiling in a merry fashion, but claims that life can never have any intrinsic worth nor meaning, and that his other self is a fool for seeking anything like that. The King of Flames despises his fellow humans, and "cannot see them as anything but imperfect constructs."

• Bio: Gwyn landed in his own personal hell quite a long time ago, and due to the circumstances leading up to it, he cannot remember how long he has been in there. Just that he did something spectacularly bad, and he was being punished as he deserved, until he came to a personal epiphany and decided to escape his hell. Which for some reason seemed to be that he was locked into a Ground Hog Day Loop that consisted of a week of his parents' abuse, wishing for his "true" father to come for him, and then gruesomely murdering his parents, little brother and sister, and everyone around him at the end of the week, with no ability to stop himself. Gwyn does not remember much, but he does know he has an Enemy Within who he considers utterly repugnant.

• Additional Notes: Gwyn does not know where his powers come from, just that "I'm Bloody Gwyn. That...must be the reason for my nickname. I kill people with my blood." That's not the reason for his name.

Actually, I am sorry, but from other players I've seen alot of complaints about your playing.

So I'm going to have to not allow you to join.

I do not think that is fair. Judging me based on the past when I've had plenty of time to evolve as a person.

I must ask simply for a chance.

• Name: Phi / Philippe de Rouen "The Butcher of Tyre"

• Age: Since the middle ages.

• Species: Succubus / Formerly MALE Human

• Appearance: Phi resembles a well-endowed, average heighted woman with fair skin, a comely face, waist-height lenght blonde hair, rosy cheeks and full lips. However, she has a few demonic traits such as red eyes with slit pupils, large bat wings that sprout from her back, black curved horns and a spear tipped tail. Due to the succubi skill in shapeshifting, Phi can hide her apparent demonic traits and alter her appearance to match that of any woman in size and characteristics. She cannot, however, turn into a man. Phi, in stark contrast with other members of her hedonistic fiendish lot prefers less revealing clothes, and wearing armor if available.

• Weapon: She is adept in the use of the longsword,although she also uses a dagger and can use arrow-based weapons in a pinch. She can also throw some punches.

• Powers: As a lesser demon of lust, Phi is adept in shapeshifting to suit anyone's desires and tempt them. She is also capable of draining the vitality of men during, ahem, certain leisure activities. She can also use magic to sway a target's mind to do her bidding as well as some demonic magic such as curses, enchanted items, and summon small fireballs. However it's noted that each time Phi uses such a power of her inheritage, her lust and hunger for souls increase, and may lead to her becoming more and more succubi-like. Phi, in virtue of her wings can also fly well.

• Bio: Once a french crusaders that went to Holy Land to fight in the name of God. Phi, by then known as Philippe de Rouen, tried hard to keep his severe idealism satisfied as more and more atrocities and senseless acts were comitted. Instead of becoming cynical and disenchanted, Philippe became a zealot, and started to see sinners everywhere. In the name of his faith and righteousness, he turned his sword to foes and allies alike, earning himself the moniker of the Butcher of Tyre. Hunted by his fellow crusaders, Philippe died alone and forgotten, hung from the walls of Tyre, cursing God for his hypocrisy. And therefore he was sent to hell.

There, Philippe's fate awaited him. Demons made fun of his righteousness and turned him in the thing he most despised. Instead of a zealot, he was made into a demon of lust, a female one at that, and condemned to satisfy the demon's lower desires for all eternity, forever denied of any righteousness.

But, as her mind crumbled and begun to accept the fact that she was now a lust demon, a ray of light shone upon her mind. Someone had escaped. It was possible. Finding strength long along forgotten, Phi resolved to follow the same path...

• Additional Notes: I thought genderbending to be the demon's bitch is a funny end for a holier-than-thou crusader. Also, he's supposed to speak in a funny french accent.

AN- Approved. Sorry for the delay.

Although I'm not technically a part of this RP, I feel the need to pop in and be pedantic. Succubi are exclusively female, their male counterparts are known as incubi. They play basically the same roles, the titles are just a distinction between the sexes.

Phi had his sex changed into that of a woman, that making her a succubus.

Name: Lovac Lieren

Age: he stopped keeping track of his age along time ago and he only remembers he died in his early twenties

Species: beast like human- it means that he was human and still mostly is but he has gained a beasts instincts and skills. His kind are considered an enigma for a more powerful being when they completely give into their animal instincts

Appearance: He has short black hair, small fangs, cold dark eyes, broad shoulders, well built, 6' 1", starts off wearing nothing but a raggedy sleeveless shirt and raggedy pants. His usual expression is a combination of curiosity, excitement, and a little bit of blood lust. When he starts to hunt he always experiences a thrill of the hunt

Weapon: claws that he uses to kill with and to help him climb. He is capable of using a wide variety of weapons but he likes hand to hand combat. He was trained in many forms of combat but now fights literally like an animal.

Powers: beast tamer- which allows him to take control of monsters to fight for him. He is capable of doing this because he was slowly becoming a beast and has been fighting a variety of monsters so he knows how they think. To keep it under control he is starting off with only two minor creatures but when one of his 'pets' dies it stays dead. He is also capable of understanding anything his pets say while they are under his control. The more powerful he becomes the more powerful creatures he can tame and the more powerful his weaker creatures become and can tame more than two. He can also store them in a pocket dimension of a sort so he can call on them whenever where ever.He has claws and animal instincts along with the ability to run on all four. He also has a some what enhanced sense of smell used for tracking.

Bio: He was a mercenary who made a name for himself and was one of the best. You could not hide from him but only run and hope he gave up. For a mercenary his life could not get any better. What ever he wanted he got it, but what few know is he did it to take care of his sick wife and a little girl that was about seven years old, who did not know her dad killed for a living. One day a job went bad and he was the only survivor. The mission was accused of terrorist attacks (not far off) and it made him think of retiring his mercenary life. When he tried to quit his boss had him killed on the spot so he wouldn't be a loose end but not until after he killed his wife and daughter in front of him. He had spent so much time in his life being the predator that for his hell he is the prey and he can't hide from his pursuers in the living maze and his died so many times now he has forgotten his name. Now he is labeled as The Hunter.

Additional Notes: This character is something I've never tried before but have wanted to do for a while. I will also have minor character sheets for his pets.
