Waaaaaay too texty.
Current is not good. I'd pull it.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanPenny Arcade is a good example, but way too wordy. And correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't posting an entire comic a problem for copyright reasons? And it really wouldn't work terribly well cutting out any of the panels (cutting the second one might work, but not terribly well).
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.I agree with Septimus and Larkmarn.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableI'd say the first two panels might work.
I could've sworn that particular strip is already in use somewhere...
I know it's been referenced elsewhere, but I don't think the actual strip is being used for the aforementioned textiness issues.
It's a shame it's so wordy because I find the body language in the second panel is really fitting for the trope.
Shall we start with pulling the current? And I'm sure we can think of some other examples; basically any Gamers On A Couch webcomic has an example of berserking fans in it. Maybe Were Geek?
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Honestly, I'm fine with no image.
I'd leave it until we come up with a new one, it's bad but doesn't hurt anything as is.

I have no idea what the connection is. It doesn't anything for the page, so I support pulling without replacement.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableHow about a re-sized, cropped version of this?
Hmmmm...one or two panels from that could work.
That would be better.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableI'm kinda fond of the Doctor Who one, it just seems like the funniest.
Maybe pick out two along with the comic header?

I think it should have two. Crop the title and keep two of the panels. I like the Doctor Who one because it makes the most obvious error that famously pisses of any fan of any places "isn't x just a rip-off of y?", so I think it's universally understood. I don't like the Harry Potter one because it's so popular that some of our tropers might actually have questioned that themselves (as the extremely popular movies don't make it clear why they didn't), the Avatar one doesn't make it clear what fandom it is, and the Homestuck one is a bit too niche.
So after the Doctor Who one, either the Pokemon one or the MLP one. I lean toward Pokemon.
Of course, Pokemon and Harry Potter might work better because the fandom titles are more recognizable overall—Potterfans and Pokefans make it clear what we're talking about. I don't think that's entirely necessary, given the title, but it's something to consider.

That works well enough for me.
bwburke94 pulled the image without consulting the thread. I'd put it back, but it kinda looks like we're moving toward replacing it anyway, I'll just repost it here for posterity (as we usually do):
Moon◊I put it back up anyway. Might as well be all official about it. I think it absolutely should be changed—and pulled, actually—but since it wasn't decided...
Works for me, the expression on the Pokemon Girls face really sells the trope.
I love #16. Although reading the full comic made me twitch in anger.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.to 16.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!I thought I wrote a comment about suggesting something like #16 once I read #12, but I guess I forgot. Anyway.
Check out my fanfiction! One or two more votes for 16 and we can run with it.
The image on here is from back when the page was still called "Gannon Banned"; it's a text scroll from the game Legend Of Zelda. It's really an image, it's just a bunch of text in GIF format. So I'm sure we can do better here; I think it would help to show berserking fans, instead of merely some part of the game that they're berserking about. How about this one◊ from Penny Arcade?
