Ah. When I hear "not an example", I always read it as "looks like it but when you know info that isn't in the image it's not an example" not "looks like something else".

Thinking it over, I kinda think the current isn't really all that bad, and if the others are misleading, they're a no-go.

Though would something like M. C. Escher's Waterfall work? In the actual artwork, it really does work like that, and not just an optical illusion.

Honestly I always felt MC Esher-like designs should be their own tropes. EDIT: Close to Alien Geometries I guess.

I do like Willbyr's idea, but I don't know GC enough to find the missing panel.

Alright, the clock's up. 30 doesn't have a lot of consensus, but it's a lot more clear than the current, so I've gone ahead and put it up. If someone comes up with something more concise later on, we can start a new thread then. Locking up.
