Thinking it over, I kinda think the current isn't really all that bad, and if the others are misleading, they're a no-go.
Though would something like M. C. Escher's Waterfall work? In the actual artwork, it really does work like that, and not just an optical illusion.
Check out my fanfiction!Honestly I always felt MC Esher-like designs should be their own tropes. EDIT: Close to Alien Geometries I guess.
I do like Willbyr's idea, but I don't know GC enough to find the missing panel.

The GC links to Deface of the Moon, which lists the pages: [1] and [2].
Check out my fanfiction!Works for me; it's certainly more clear than the last panel by itself.
Bump; anyone else?
@30 is good for me.

Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes.Alright, the clock's up. 30 doesn't have a lot of consensus, but it's a lot more clear than the current, so I've gone ahead and put it up. If someone comes up with something more concise later on, we can start a new thread then. Locking up.
Ah. When I hear "not an example", I always read it as "looks like it but when you know info that isn't in the image it's not an example" not "looks like something else".
