Kung Fu Panda franchise

Not watching Home. I liked it as a short, and I want it to stay that way in my memory.

Why all the Home hate. Looks pretty interesting to me.

The alien designs are just... so... blaaaand. I'm having a hard time recalling a less interesting-looking alien.

Time Lords. Coruscant...ians?

Generally Human Aliens.

Doesn't Jim Parsons just play the same character he plays in the Big Bang Theory?

He seems a tad more naive in this movie, and he occasionally uses broken English.

I have a grudge against the practice of adding children to pad out your plot. In the short, all aliens were adults. And now, a child will be a main character. Plus, the short was based on non-stop jokes, while the movie will have a MORAL MESSAGE.

I want shorts to remain shorts, no need to add 3 act structure to everything.

@Eagal It just looked very bland and boring to me.Maybe its a case where the trailers are misleading,but I'm not interested.

I find it funny how everyone is talking about Home now instead of the new KFP3 info.

I guess. We don't have to wait long to see if that teaser is real at least.

Waiting impatiently for someone to watch Home and describe the teaser to us.

I went to see Home today. No KFP 3 teaser to be found.

But it was confirmed! It even has a name!

Unless it played after the credits instead of in the previews, I don't know what to tell you.

Never mind, I just looked it up. Apparently, that short only came with the special early screening...lucky bastards.

Admittedly, it did seem a bit too early to be showing a teaser for a movie that doesn't come out until next year. It's a good thing we just got all that new info about it, or this would be much worse.

Update time! Two pieces of info that have come out recently:

- The release date has been moved up to January 29th. I like to think of it as Dreamworks apologizing for the Home fiasco.

- Mads Mikkelson is no longer part of the cast and has been replaced with J.K. Simmons. I would complain, but I can't object to Cave Johnson.

If I can talk about the original Kung Fu Panda, let us acknowledge the contribution of one of the two directors, John Stevenson. As a fan of kung fu flicks, he was the one that turned it from a parody into a genuine martial arts movie with humor.

He did a great thing, and that great thing makes him a great man.

so out of curiosity guys, what are your favorite fight scenes in the movies? mine are Tai Lung's escape from prison and his run-in with the Furious Five in KFP 1, and Po and the Furious Five's "trip" through Gong Men City in KFP 2.

Why have favorite moments when you can just like the entirety? I won't buy pieces, I buy the whole thing!

I second the prison escape and bridge scenes from Panda 1, and pretty much the entire final battle of Panda 2.
