What about the second one in the last link? That shows a typical page of such a book.
Check out my fanfiction!I'm good with 1.2.1 or 1.2.2, with a preference for the second.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.I second that one, it's shows how they work pretty well.
Damn, I didn't even scroll down this page after seeing the first, so I missed the picture of the inside of such a book, but it's indeed quite perfect!
I'm making a correct-sized version right now. Tell me what you think of it:

Yeah, that one.
if someone makes a crowner, put a vote for the picture of the "pick a page" instructions for me to.
I like 5 a lot, and since the thread's unanimous for it, it's up on the trope page and tagged. Caption or no?

"It seem like a easy choice, but you don't want to know what's guarding those stairs"
Not for nothing, but why do you guys keep calling threads so early? This has only been opened up a few hours (that particular image has only been around for four) and there are four votes for it. I like the image too, but this is getting kind of silly.

I guessing it's because we're having a problem with threads rotting for weeks, or even months with nothing be concluded so the mods are trying to stay on top of it tighter.
I think that's great, but only a couple of hours and only a couple of votes? You have to be really babysitting Image Pickin' to be able to catch things like this.
We really don't need to worry about images that much, it's a small change that someone else can contest later if they have a better idea.
Four votes? I counted to seven: Telly, shobi, Fan, Ghilz, Noa, Willy, and some duck or another.

Check out my fanfiction! You're counting votes for different images, and you're also counting Fan who did not necessarily give a preference. You also didn't vote for it. You voted for this◊.

I've no idea what that image linked is — it's just a single pixel. Counting votes...
Post #2 suggests the open book. This can be counted as a vote.
Post #3 votes for the open book. Confirmed in post #6.
Post #4 votes for the open book.
Post #5 calls it quite perfect indeed. This can be counted as a vote.
Post #7 votes for the open book.
Post #9 votes for the open book.
Post #10 votes for the open book.
How are they voting for different images?
The caption in #11 is decent. That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.
This is the "second image in the last link". The first image is the collection. The third image is the page. If it appears differently for me, I apologize, but otherwise it looks like everyone was voting for the second image, and then someone mentioned the third, posted that, and a couple of people preferred that.
Ohhhh, I see. I somehow managed to ignore the first image on that page completely. I think because I knew I was looking for an open book page based on Ducky's post.

That was the amazing part. Things just keep going. It didn't load for me before. Is it a page that adds items to the top like a blog?
At any rate, my description of the image clearly points to one of them, so if the counting is wrong, that's wrong.

Check out my fanfiction!Off-topic: I used to have those first three D&D books when I was a kid and loved 'em.
With no caption suggestions, let's lock up.
The fact that the trope/genre Choose Your Own Adventure has the same name as the book series is confusing enough, them having the same picture doesn't help.
The picture from the first book is fine enough for the book series, but the trope would need a better one.
It can still be a cover from the series; the one for Supercomputer◊ would be good; it shows the wide scope of the gamebook's genre.
Or else, maybe a picture showing many titles, like this one.
