So I found some reviews of works I enjoy from outside Tv Tropes. The reviews are too large to simply be copied across, so I was wondering if one is allowed to put a link to an offsite review in the reviews page?

No offense but whats the point? The point of the review space is so you can put your opinion... If you're just gonna link to someone else's opinion, what's the point?

None taken. And because I believe everyone's opinion has the right to be heard and known.

That doesn't even begin to imply that there should be a link from here to it. If the author of the review wants to put a review here, they can.

So you'd be linking to every review ever given about a work? Sounds impractical. Really, if someone is looking for non-troper reviews, Google/Bing can help them find their way.

In addition to [up], ideally the less you link away from the wiki, the better, especially for things that don't really relate to the primary purpose of the site like reviews (by tropers or others).

So I added a few reviews to the top of a few pages. Is this OK, or should they be removed?

Quotes that are reviews? These don't go on a work's page, unless the work is the review.
