Hmmm. If they have an arc with the Punisher, that would be interesting, since it looks like Ghost Rider is acting as a sort of supernatural Punisher.
I'd actually prefer, however, if Daisy met Matt Murdock and they bonded over going to the same orphanage.
Now that would make for a real nice scene. They just gotta find a reason for Daisy to go to Hell's Kitchen and she and Matt end up sitting on the same park bench or something and start talking about their shared experience.
Tis the great art of life to manage well The restless mindInteresting video of how they did the VFX of Ghost Rider.
"No Penance Stare me no likey. That's like intrinsic. That was his Spider Sense, that was his cowl, that was his Lasso of Truth, that was his "You won't like me when I'm angry." "
Which makes it clear that you're most familiar with the '90s Ghost Rider, Daniel Ketch. Because Johnny Blaze, as the Ghost Rider, didn't actually have the Penance Stare. That was introduced with the '90s Ghost Rider. When Blaze became Ghost Rider again, he did get the Penance Stare as part of that, but it wasn't part of his original power set.
I guess we'll wait and see if Reyes gets it in the show, but I don't know that it's really necessary. He has soul-burning flames, that's pretty much close enough. The whole point of the Penance Stare was that the '90s Rider didn't kill humans, so this was something else he could do to them. The Rider on the show clearly has no compunctions about killing. So the Stare would be superfluous.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.Guys...
It's Backgammon.
H.B. WardAm I missing a pun?
“And the Bunny nails it!” ~ Gabrael “If the UN can get through a day without everyone strangling everyone else so can we.” ~ CyranMaybe She-Hulk should get the small budget TV treatment.
My kingdom for a She-Hulk short, at the very least. In the style of the '70s series, or at least going as far as All Hail The King with its sweet-ass '70s funk credits. Actually, that might really work for her.
Downloading the first episode from itunes now....
WRT the Punisher speculation: Last week one of the guys from the animation division was asked about more AOS characters appearing in the TV show, and while he said no, he said there is a live-action crossover coming.
Could be the AOS/Punisher rumor.
Shit, I haven't even finished Daredevil yet.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?That... Backgammon's the game Coulson was playing with Mackenzie. I was trying to think of a joke about "Next time on Agents of SHIELD: Coulson plays Backgammon" or something, but instead I posted the image because I was so bewildered when it was mistaken for a vague gambling exercise.
H.B. WardClip from next episode. Seems like Daisy has done her homework on Robbie.
Tis the great art of life to manage well The restless mindI'm a bit confused about the Punisher rumors. If I remember correctly, didn't Clark Gregg say he wasn't allowed on the Netflix shows because of corporate stuff?
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?I'm not sure about that, but this isn't Gregg appearing on a Netflix show. It's the Punisher appearing on AOS.
I'm trying to remember what his exact statement was, but I took it as him saying that either side crossing over wasn't possible. Of course, things could've changed in the time since that statement.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?I thought it had more to do with scheduling conflicts. They're filmed on opposite sides of the continent, after all. Jon Bernthal is probably unbound by that since his show isn't actually being filmed yet. At least I don't think it is.
A lot tends to happen from week to week on AOS, so maybe there's an issue with figuring out a way to use the crossover in a way that doesn't feel completely gratuitous and tacked on, which doesn't completely go against the tone of any show involved. Could also be a problem with getting the timeline right. The last season of Daredevil ended on a pretty big emotional cliffhanger, with a lot of threads left dangling. Punisher's wandering ways make it much easier for him to simply drop in wherever.
Jessica Jones' newfound celebrity actually puts her in the better spot for a driveby cameo. I also think the levels of snark are more similar, easier to calibrate.
You know, people in universe have been complaining about the new directors security policies, but considering that we've seen 6 moles in 3 seasons, he might have a point.
You lost!I dunno. It's a spy agency, moles are to be expected.
The third episode is called "Uprising."
Part of me is glad that they are still having the Inhumans around, the other part of me is hoping that they don't use them too much this season. At least this episode will be tying into the accords a bit.
Tis the great art of life to manage well The restless mindLooks like the ratings took an improvement from the premiere
Tis the great art of life to manage well The restless mindI tried to strip out the pre-season 4 spoilers from the character pages, but since they're mixed in with the other MCU pages, I probably missed a bunch. Still, it should help.
Our first clip with the new Director

There seems to be an interesting rumor going around lately involving Punisher and Agents of Shield. If this does eventually turn out to be true I'd be all for it. It's time for some intercontinuity between the marvel shows in my opinion.
