I'm going to wait until we actually see it on screen before making any judgments about it. What we see in the poster might be a stylized somewhat. Plus it's also possible that the artist was basing it off a design for Coulson's robotic arm rather then the actual prop if it hadn't been built yet. So it might look a different when Clark Gregg actually has it on.
It'll be interesting to see what capabilities it has. Realistically even if the robotic arm is much stronger then a human one there's a limit to what it can do in terms of raw strength since his elbow and shoulder are still normal. Could have some cool gadgets in their however, a built-in ICER would be neat.
Now I want Coulson and Misty Knight to meet and compare robotic arms.
Actually, I just want Misty Knight to guest star this season. Please?

'How could he lose? He's got a bionic arm!'
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. If Misty shows up it's more likely to be on one or more of the Netflix shows. What I'd really love is a similar conversation between Coulson and Dethlok
Trump delenda estNow Coulson looks like an Avenger. Very intense poster, I like.
Remember Bucky? Dude had a bionic arm. A bionic arm that nearly killed Captain America. Coulson's won't be as awesome (well maybe it will, Bucky's was built by cutting-edge WWII robotics), but he's going to cold cock someone into next week with it.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!I think Coulson will definitely think of putting some sort of trick up that arm, something that he'll tell Fitz to put in there and for him to keep it on the down low.I highly doubt Coulson would get a bionic arm made without some sort of secret capabilities installed in it.
Tis the great art of life to manage well The restless mindThe secret capability is that it holds his vintage Captain America cards!
You know assuming he has any left that Fury didn't ruin with his blood.
Click Click Boom BoomSomeone probably already mentioned this, but as the start of the season Hartley grabbed the Obelisk, and told Hunter to cut her hand off so she didn't die, and said with robotics these days, she could get a good new hand. At the end of the season, Coulson lost his hand so the Diviner material didn't kill him, and is going get a good new hand thanks to robotics these days.
Yeah, they really missed out on the opportunity to have Lucy Lawless with a robot arm. That would have been awesome.
Not very much to go on unfortunately, but they do seem to hint the season will be heavily inspired by the current Inhuman comics.
AoS has apparently raided AC's costume department
"You can reply to this Message!"I could watch that all day
I'm waiting for Hayley Atwells counterstrike. Maybe she'll steal Coulsons Cap Cards?
"You can reply to this Message!"She steals Coulson's bionic arm.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Thank you Hayley Atwell now I have stuck ABBA in my head.
"You can reply to this Message!"Can't watch the last video, but damn are they hilarious. Especially AC's use of "Uh Oh".
I especially like Brett Dalton's "performance" with "we are the champions".

You lost!Good god, this is what the SHIELD budget is going to.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!
...
This is actors screwing around in the off-season when they are together anyways for Comic Con. I doubt any of this is even one cent on Marvel's books.
Hayley, I thought I told you, no fucking ABBA!

Trump delenda estOh god. I'm dying. This is so good.
And if I claim to be a wise man, well, it surely means that I don't know.I don't get it.
What's there to get? They are goofing off. It's funny.
(x5)
I didn't mean that literally.

In that case I would remind you of Poe's Law. On the internet it's almost impossible to distinguish between a parody of an extreme view and a sincerely held extreme view without some obvious admission of sarcasm.
I hope it is not Ward. He looks weird with a beard.
And I am disappointed. I wanted Coulson to get a normal looking hand with all sorts of gadgets hidden in it. It fits the character better, something which doesn't draws attention to it at all, but very dangerous beyond the surface.
