Visit mom. She has better internet. Can connect to others. Good - can get through sorties easily. Check them. All are of kind, I'd rather solo.

Doing the Limbo quest only reminds me why I hate Excavation missions so fucking much.

"Excavator is out of power we need another cell"

"Excavator is out of power we need another cell"

"Excavator is out of power we need another cell"

Then fucking spawn the power carriers already god fucking damn it.

I guess it's worse now that the excavators start at 20% instead of 50%.

God fucking yes. There should always be spawn reserved exclusively for power carrier. It really sucks when drill dies from scratches after few minutes of fighting. Even if you've been killing enemies as fast as they spawn.

I spam Loki's decoy when soloing those missions. Combine with a Sonicor for CC and a Redeemer, it actually isn't that bad. Nyx, Nova, and Vauban also work extremely well.

So the Orokin basically fuck up everything they try to do except one thing. They are apparently masters of terraforming, and somehow that, as far as I'm aware, never bit them in the ass like pretty much everything else they pulled.

Seriously, they turned glorified asteroids into planetoids with earth like gravity and atmosphere. They turned a god damn gas giant into a water world somehow. Also, why Uranus and not Neptune. You'd think the one named after a sea god would be the one turned into a water planet.

Erm, on the Uranus you don't actually get into the planet but instead you go to its moons, the parts where you start at the surface you can easily see Uranus on the sky.

Well, I fail at being observant. But my point still stands about the Orokin being masters of terraforming even if they aren't quite as bullshit good at it as I thought.

It might sound silly, but I'm more amazed with how the orokin managed to jam 14 K units of Oxium into Vauban Prime's chassis alone.

DE already confirmed they will half the build requirement but daaaaaaamn gurl. Vauban Prime must feel like bursting with Oxium.

[up]Well, I have a couple unpolite guesses about where all that oxium went to, specially where all his grenades must have been shoved to spam that many.

[up] [up]Well I just remembered a thing. The Sentient are probably another Orokin creation used to terraform planets beyond the solar system for the Orokin, so like everything they did, it did bite them in the ass and only messed up the system even more.

The resource creep in this game is getting ridiculous. Vauban Prime costs more Oxium to make than Zephyr, who's supposed to be made of the stuff.

7k Oxium and 10 Alertium. Resource creep is, as they say, very much real.

Did you know that old price of 14k oxium was more than rest of the oxium requirements put together? Like holy gvakamoli! Got to check my oxium collection.

I knew it'd get worse when I saw the Twin Komak requirements.

Well, I tried Hall of Mirrors Mirage using the Synoid Simulor and damn, I never imagined something that could out damage my Excal but here it is.

Come the fuck on, DE.

If the problem is "players are stockpiling too many resources", you'd think DE would get smart and create some kind of consumable gear item that would cost those resources to craft; but no.

The smart choice would be to create a leak like that, yeah. But it's DE's own fault. RNG and other Farm-incentivising means this outcome is inevitable.

[up] There's an interesting Reddit post regarding other ideas to curb excess resources. These are things like alternative rush costs/methods and cosmetics based around the resources themselves.

Remember when Oxium Ospreys dropped 1 or 2 Oxium and you wanted to make things that required 300 to 600 Oximum? Yeah it sucked not they want just a few thousand Oxium.

So much for the jacked up drop amount.

I just assumed that DE wanted Vauban Prime to be much more of a pain to get than Vauban... And figured there was a way other than alerts on top of alertium.

The "problem" here is that DE wants to keep players playing, so unless there was a catastrophic exodus of paying customers in reaction, we will keep seeing these kind of grind tactic.

or a massive amount of players would simply stop playing the game and basically go on strike.

IMHO, the devs kept Moving the Goalposts in regards to the resource grind wall despite more creative and tasteful solutions being available, so they had this backlash coming to them.

Gods, I remember when I first started out and the thought of having even a /sentinel/ or a new warframe seemed IMPOSSIBLE because nothing new players have access too drops control modules. Hell, I didn't get a hornet strike mod until RECENTLY, which colored my view of sidearms significantly. They only ever seemed like MR fodder because I didn't have the ability to make them do any damage.

[up]It brings me some memories when I started playing this game when cover mattered and even the Exterminate missions were a challenge on their own when your level was low.

Then you figure out what works for you and where to get the decent mods and the game gets easier and easier.

I'm in that weird middle stage where 30-50 is fine, but 60 is really dicey. I suspect I just have to specialize my generalist builds.
