Our Kubrows need to shoulder mount a rifle (Braton), we need to be able to equip Prime Braton as a sidearm, use the Mk-1 Braton as a melee and akimbo the Vandal and Wraith Bratons. Bam, all Braton find a use at once. EDIT: Swapped Prime and Mk-1, Mk-1 is better suited as a blunt instrument than a sidearm.
In other news, Rebecca's latest post hints at a nerfer's remorse after the aftermath of 15.2.
Wonder what will be in that Workshop.

Maybie actual fix to Viver problem which will satisfy many people and piss off even more.
Steve explains the triple nerf.
It's a mix of panic, zealotry, actual balance and misguided will.
He also hints at Viver being - scare chord - changed .
i personally couldn't care less about viver, i do care about the syndicate standing system being broken, but finding an uber-farm is not fixing that, actually fixing the system is the only thing that will fix it.
regarding the triple nerf, i'm not sure you should be including "actual balance" in there, those abilities were all clearly nerfed because of viver, and while i get that the combo can be pulled off in other places besides viver, nerfing them because-of and as a combo instead of carefully balancing each ability separatedly (both considering their individual capabilities and their posible combos) is anything but "actual balance".
piggy ganon, piggy ganon, does whatever a piggy cannot...The whole nerf was implemented as a "panic-induced" move to try and balance a lot of things at once, where Viver was the catalyst. If I understand this right, this was some kind of wake up call to DE who realized "Hey, maybe these kind of abilities are too strong?" and in the post he made Steve precise it wasn't a good move in retrospect. As with every human decisions, there was a lot of factor, and "balance" was one of them here. Not a... particularly good factor in this case, but considering the madness induced by the Viver Fever (Vivergate if you prefer), DE felt pressured into acting faster (and more unreasonably).
With that said, an edit by Steve to his post indicates that the Syndicate system is under laser surgery (and reportedly screaming).
Latest hotfix is up. Notables include a reversion to the LOS changes, a rep multiplier for the more expensive Syndicate sigils, and — coming in the next hotfix — all Syndicate rep gains being increased tenfold.
We have hard figures for the Sigils: it goes from 5% to 15% with jumps of 3. Prize doesn't matter, only the tier. It's nice I guess, but nothing to lose our minds over.
Also, the Devstream went by this afternoon, and we got some snippet of news.
Mostly talks about the fuck-up of the 15.2 update, but then we were demo'd the newest iteration of the spy mission, which is basically like rescue but you have to reach 3 points and hack them to stop a broadcast or something. It was very WIP.
Then we were shown the hub, which looked like a huge dojo of sort, where players arrive via a hangar, and from there will have some communal areas as well as access points to reach Syndicate rooms. We were shown already all the rooms, I'll share a link to an album whenever there's one up (there will be one at some point).
We were also shown the Juggernaut from the Community enemy concept. It was... It was something. It looked like some sort of super-cow whose torso we lowered while spreading the shoulders outward.
Oh and we already have a concept for the next Warframe (a gunslinger). To me it looks OK.◊ I was kinda hoping for chapless pants for uh, for reasons...
They teased new combos for Tonfa, Greatsword and a new weapon, a gunblade. Gunblade looked awfully like Tigris.
EDIT: Oh and Salad V will be getting a "Infested" boss fight as well.

So uh...Two potatoes are now on the line.
Both require Archwings. Glad I made mine!

This is a signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.In case you haven't noticed there is tactical alert going on right now. Rewards are 30000 credits at 5 points, 5 orokin cells at 10 and catalyst at 20. It's a capture mission with fuckton of corpus snipers, techs and of course their eximus counterparts. Capture targets are protected by three faster than regular and very tanky shield drones. Target himself is tech eximus with energy drain reaching further than any tile. Oh and despite what Lotus may indicate there is no stealth option. Enemies are in alerted state right from the start.
well that gunslinger looks awesome, btw, i see couple of interesting things, 1) lean female, light armored, clearly made for speed; 2) built in akimbo guns, arm-foldable, look kinda gunbladeish; i know i might be getting ahead of myself, but i've got a feeling we're getting an ability set that's to guns what valkyr is to melee, i'm hoping for a twin gunblade acrobatic gun-fu mode ultimate @w@, i iz eager.
EDIT: i just noiticed the shoes are conveniently covered in that concept art, i sense weird-ass shoes incoming...
SOAR FOR THE POTATOES! *"march of the valkyries" plays in the background*

piggy ganon, piggy ganon, does whatever a piggy cannot...Look how long Limbo kept in secrecy and now we get teased with new frame super early. Also seems like uproar about Limbo's hat got to Myanki since new frame will be "more subtle". Also Mynki is sooo shy it makes him the cutest scarcely shaved sci-fi guyvering game art director ever.
ppl were complaining about limbo's hat?, i mena i'd like to get an alt helm that gives us one of those gangter hats to replace it(you know the ones, those 40's ones that may or may not have a little feather on them), but the very fact that he has a hat is incredible levels of crazy-awesome.
EDIT: HOLY FREAKING COW CRAP ON A LOLIPOP! i was looking at the 'slinger frame concept and i just noticed, HER THUMBS ARE THE GUN'S HAMMERS 0-0... NO TRIGGERS FOR YOU! XP

piggy ganon, piggy ganon, does whatever a piggy cannot...Orokin Reactor alert on Phobos. Almost two hours left.
Good thing indeed.
Not sure how I feel about Gift of the Lotus given out in Archwing mod tho...
I know, right? Gunslinger's reveal came so quickly. I thought she would be a surprise for 15.5 just before DE's holidays.
I still wonder why Mynki was there. I mean, he kinda came out of nowhere. Well, I guess it's nice to have his insight every so often. And really, how can Rebecca throw him under the boss if he's not on screen?
Some still are. I can scarcely play with my brother without being reminded that he hate Limbo's top hat. Many people felt that Limbo was a Shark Jump.
Have you guys played the Infested quest line?
It's not very long, but you can get a Molten Impact and a Heat Sword, and we learn that Doctor Tengus, the Grineer responsible for the Grustrag 3 among other things, is the one responsible for the "contemporary" outbreak of Infestation, and before he tried going Weylan-Yutani on us the Infestation was mostly wiped out along the Orokin.
Amusingly enough he tries to blame the Tenno for the outbreak, saying that we took spores to further spread the Infestation. Well, we did accidentally free them, I guess, but we aren't purposefully spreading spores.
Rhino Prime's codex entry is out.
It's... something alright.
"Rhino" is described more like one of the advanced Technocyte victim of Dark Sector, complete with metallic skin and body eating tendencies. Apparently, the Orokin (if the people in the codex are Orokin) didn't treat Tenno well. At all.
The entry:
I'm a statue, a cornered animal. A gate opens inside me and recognition floods in. I have seen this monster before. I have cut its shell and eviscerated its brothers. I have given it pain and measured its response. I have crafted then rejected countless like it. But I've never seen this beast so close, without the shield, without restraints. I have never seen it... free.
I know I will die so I just watch with curious acceptance. The beast squats down, shovelling a heap of gore into its mouth. It is watching me with vague eyes, a sense of recognition, ancestral memory. It knows who I am and what I've done. It rears up like a bear and roars, shattering the lights and casting us into darkness. I can hear it lumbering toward me, its metal fingers rending the walls, but I know I am dead. I close my eyes stand ready to pay.
I feel the pull on my arm and realize Davis got the cell open. He tugs me into the cell beyond and I fall on my back. I see Davis standing at the open door, waiting, as the monster tears towards us.
Suddenly I could live through this I shout, Davis, close the goddamn door!" - But he shakes his head eyes wide as moons. He shouts, "Watch!" over the roaring and rending of metal.
Then silence. Davis is panting, laughing? The beast fills the doorway, inches from him, dripping in blood, but still without violence. It stands there, looking at its hands. Davis whispers, "No one would have believed me."
I crawl up the wall to stand, opposite the door. I've never seen this cell, a cold place with an array of shelves. A morgue? "Where are we, Davis?"
"This is where they keep them. The ones from Zariman." I'm thrown, what was the Zariman? The ship that never returned? "Davis, what's going on?"
Davis turns to me, a smile forming - "What's going on is..." he turns back to the beast now silent and calm.
"...big fat promotions."

I'm trying to figure out how the scoring system for this Tactical Alert works. I finished the mission once and got two points. Finished it again and got 4 points. The progress bar shows four points. I then assumed the points had to be gotten in one run, so I went with a group. We failed, but the progress bar updated to five points. I then finished the mission twice with the same group and got no points either time.
Codex entry: makes fucking sense.
For me (solo) it was one point for one target captured. Thankfully targets didn't try to run until Lotus said I've located them a.k.a. snipe them dumb bricks with Marelok from across the tile (which is still in energy drain zone).
Two random thoughts:
Hubs are going to house leaders of every syndicate. I can already imagine standing right in front of New Loka's leader and her saying: E-heh-heh-he, do you remember when I sent space mutant zombie assassins after you? Three times in a row. And you like totally killed em all and none of us was even mad about it. Heh, good times.
Remember suggestion to nickname our weapons (from community hot-topics) and my opinion was resounding meh? I have changed my mind, for inspiration has downed upon me. And thus I shall name Phage: Senpai finally noticed you.

I know right? I'm still not sure why "Rhino" stopped at the door.
I'm not 100% sure how Dear Leader would react to someone walking in her oasis. I mean, sure, she doesn't arms nor legs yet in her model, but do you really want to mess with someone who doesn't need 4 limbs?
Oh and an attack on the leader would probably lead to a war or something. That or the hubs have some "space magic anti-weapon and magic field".
Oh and what the shit did I SAY about telling me what you called your phage?!
I want nothing to do with the hentai/phallus jokes!

Yeah, that's what I assumed at first, since my first mission I captured two targets and got two points. Used up all my revives. The progress log shows 2/20.
Next mission, I captured two targets and only used two revives and got four points. The progress log...shows 4/20.
I join a group. We capture one (I think) but the other escapes and we fail the mission. Progress log shows 5/20.
We run the mission again, succeed at capturing both targets. I get no points. Progress log shows 5/20.
We run the mission one final time, succeeding again. Again, I get no points. Progress log shows 5/20.
See why I'm confused?
On the subject of the Infestation, maybe Tengus was responsible for a local outbreak, but considering the existence of the Derelicts and stuff, I'm inclined to believe that the Infested were never truly exterminated, just lurking in the dark sectors and stuff.
but HOW?I think that's what is going on as well. I'm just not sure why no one in the quest mentions the Derelict, it feels like this would really give some sort of "appetizer" to interest new players into looking in these crazy derelict keys on the market.
I just did the event in one sitting, we got 2 points (one per target, allegedly) and our score stacked by two every mission we did. So you really need to do the mission 10 times.
I don't mind the amount of rerun that much, it was just enough AFAIC. I already have my Stratos emblem, so I didn't do the extra mile. For the first few run, my prized 5 star Opticor felt like overkill, but in the later run it only felt like mild-overkill.
So wait, you just did the first mission ten times? Or did you do Cold Revenge 2 through 4 as well? Because your method isn't working for me at all.
I meant 10 missions spread between stage 1 to 3.
Gotcha. Was this explained somewhere and I missed it?
The closest I've seen to an explanation is this:
By Rebecca. So not much in the way of explanation, really.
EDIT: Gonna add here a short video for the Syndicate hub room for whoever wants to see them with dev commentary. Amusingly New Loka's Dear Leader has no limb but floats and Red Veil's edge lord doesn't have any lighting because he's so edgy-edgy.

I guess we need Braton Wraith then. And Dex Braton for two year beta anniversary too. In the name of complete Braton set. So much Braton you'll eventually throw it back in DE's face.
