Ah. I was thinking of getting Hek and a Penta. Because it looks like a nice shotgun. Also, is it worthwhile to mod for health? Just want to know if I should use the points for something else.

it mostly depends on how you play/how good you are at dodging, i personally go wiht no survivavility and try to get the most of a frame's ability, but i know ppl who go full mega tank wiht pretty much ONLY survivavility, though i've only see nthat done on tank frames like rhino for example; if you feel like you need survivability mods, the most useful one tends to be health, unless your frame has way more shields than health like volt or mag, shields are second and armor is really only usable on frost(for globe) and valkyr(cus massive base armor9 in my opinion.

basically, check and see for yourself what suits you best, if tanking suits you or you just need some extra resistance then go ahead and put on some health mods.

regarding the shell clan, i guess i could help with that, i've never been good at getting resources but i know i could help in building a simple, efficient dojo for it, or i can make a maze if you want XP, anyhow i already have an alt account anyways, so might as well give it some use(made it ages ago to try out mag, on those olden days were her pull was still targeted)

also, i personally love my dera, it's not the most powerful weapon out there but it is good enough and i really like how it works (very rapid fire, pin-point accurate lazor rifle, it has bullet travel time though) on the other hand the flux rifle, while not exactly bad, does need a lot of modding to be truely useful, at least in my opinion.

I have Nova building and almost enough funds to get the BP and build a Hek or Penta. Let the destruction begin. Still no luck getting Heavy Calibur or Beserker, though. And I end up face tanking a lot of damage without trying, so three slots dedicated to health and shields, there.

I don't know how I'll set up the nu!dojo, so if you feel inspired I can leave that to you. While a maze sounds highly evil (yet amusing), the thing should be practical, not a maze.

ok, practical it is then, i'll check the available dojo blocks and make a quick blueprint later (not sure if today though as i've got stuffs to do), btw, do i include everything (as in, every utility block, like all labs, the duel room and stuffs; or just what would be strictly necesary?)

Ideally the dojo would have all the installation one might want in a dojo and have room to expand. Now the clan is shell, but we never know if it'll actually be used.

Hotfix 14.1.4 is out.

Barely worth mentioning. See links for the fixes and changes. Banshee in particular got a couple of fixes so Sonar. Dark Sectors got re-balanced.

One (notable?) change was that they changed the default ports used by Warframe. See explanation by [DE]Glen here. It's all esoteric router gibberish to me personally. From what I understand it will fix a couple of issues, like strict NAT.

Still no way to release Kubrows. This is getting ridiculous.

Honestly it was ridiculous from day one. No release option included with breedable pets is a lack of foresight.

Now, as annoyed as I am, I can kind of understand that they have their hands full. It's just a guess, but I'd wager that they still need to 1. decide what's the "release" option (is it a plain release? euthanasia? donation to clan? Kubrow kennels?) 2. Implement said option (UI team's required) 3. Sort all the other issues in Update 14 as well as working on Tenno-Live.

I think updates that are as bloated as U14 is a bad idea all around. It just adds so much entropy into the game and so many issues that might need more than one department to fix, so it drags on. Then, add the fact that Tenno-Live is coming. Regardless of how important you (general you) think it is, Steve (and others, maybe) have decided to hype it up and now they are probably working to show something at the event, slowing down the progress on balance passes and bugfixes. (Sheldon tweeted to say that Tenno Live is being worked on, so I like to think I'm not just being a tinfoil hat conspirationist)

Well, claimed Penta today and will be able to use Nova when I get back to my house on Sunday. There will be various kinds of spectacular explosions.

Nova plus Angstrum, times Jat Kittag, to the power of Ogris... Equals BOOM.

I'm going to be leveling a Penta and Nikana alongside Nova. Penta is enough explosive power. Plus there's always by Soma and Dual Ichor if I need them.

I'd argue that Mirage is just as (if not more) explosive as Nova with the right build.

But PS 4 does not have U14. And it'd probably take me forever to get all the parts from vaults. A Nd I unfortuantly can't get absurd amounts of Angstrum rockets yet, as i have no Multishot mods for pistols.

In other news, I was walking around in Saturn (namely in a survival) with my auxi when I thought out loud how hardcore that Kubrow I hatched actually was, and just as I finished my sentence I notice said Kubrow bleeding out on the floor. I got it just before it died, but I did alright. Surprised the fuck outta me.

I find it annoying how Sahasas never dig in survival. I mean, I get why they don't dig, it'd be a major risk for them. But sometimes I get an opening and I really wish it would take a second to dig something like more ammo or energy. Which are both useful at that level of play.

I have stopped playing warframe for the time being. I am just tired of constant endless grinding.

Ayup. I can't even bring myself to finish leveling Mirage and Hydroid, which is a shame since that usually keeps me occupied for awhile.

Breeding Kubrows might have kept me interested, but with no way to release my failures it's just not fun.

These days I usually just get on to check my extractors and occasionally do an alert. :| I guess I could try out some void missions, grind for achievements, that sort of thing. Maybe try out the Dark Sector revamp? Hm...

Feeling pretty much the same. It's hard to feel otherwise after 1000 hours.

I don't know if it's the kind of thing that interests you guys, but I thought creating a new account was fun, and I say that as someone who hates starting over. (To be 100% honest, I did get 'some' help)

PSA: Weapons changes!

Highlights:

• Grakata ammo capacity buff (oooooook?)
• Angstrum/Castanas/Ogris/Torid/Penta straight nerf to ammo capacity (from what they are now to fucking 20) ((Not a typo, 20 max ammo capacity))
• Lanka damage and critical chance/damage buff (oh lord and it's not negligible)
• Vectis damage, proc chance and reload time buff (still not negligible)
• Vulkar damage, critical damage magazine size, reload time buff (fucking finally)

While I felt the ammo capacity nerf to explosive weapons was required, holy fuck that's dramatic. Penta, Ogris and Angstrum should be minimally affected, but why the fuck is Torid nerfed? You can't do even half the mayhem the other weapons can do with Torid at comparable damage levels.
