I basically think of Akko as a What If? where Reuko never got Senketsu and had to work for everything she got, and all the smashing into walls that implies. Her method's pretty much the same, when in doubt, yell at it or power through with anger until it can't bother you any more.

Even with a powerful item like that at Akko's disposal, it still doesn't help much.

What is it akko has realized she can do that no one else can?

I suspect it has something to do with showmanship, somnething Akko is a complete natural at (as proven by Episode 9 and 10) Just turning around in front of the fountain in 10, winning the crowd in 9 (look at the money they collected!). She's the best witch at improv and stage presence, possibly ever. She might even be a better performer than Chariot was.

I'm hoping it's something involving her making her "sacrifice" role something interesting rather than the nasty, lame job that everyone sees it as.

I thought this was setting up Akko doing something to liven up the Festival, given how boring and old-fashioned they made it out to be.

I got the impression she thought the reason that ghost required sacrifices was something to fix. And considering giving inspiration seems to be her schtick, it seems appropriate.

I wouldn't put it past her to find a way to end that.

And Suzy will say or think "Great, Akko. Now I can't live out my vore fetish.◊"

Just saying, same girl who thought unleashing poisonous spores on the town in the OVA was a good idea. Or nearly had Akko eaten by monsters because it was funny, or the crisis in her head: should I kill her nicely, or slowly? Not exactly the sanest girl around.

When it comes to her...interests, if there's a human being that can satisfy a tenth of that, I'll be amazed. Better off sticking with Mushroom-Kun.

So basically Sucy's soul mate is the ghost of a mushroom man who enjoys trolling Akko.

That's the perfect combination of things not normal...

But not all things...just things that she has interest in.

That one episode showed that Sucy actively kills any normal human like impulses she has. No wonder she's so weird.

Are you suggesting that the urge to spit on everyone is not a normal human like impulse?

I think the episode was pretty clear about it being a llama-like impulse.

That's not mutually exclusive.

Do we not all dream of going on adventures with John Goodman, spitting on people, and constantly wearing a warm fluffy sweater, much like the noble llama?

My guess, somewhere between the 120 Days of Sodom, Cannibal Holocaust, and Diabolic Lovers, with frequent, unnecessary diversions to describe mushrooms in extreme clinical detail and hide recipes for poison at the glossary in the back.
