Magic can only be used by select people, and modern technology is slowly turning magic obsolete. Therefore, the general public has been losing interest in magic and has started to forget about its very existence

-mouth waters from world building!-

Hmmm, there's no specific reason for having females as the protagonists in both titles. It just happened.

... methinks the interviewer isn't very familiar with anime.

People are forgetting about magic, and yet they have legit magic shows? I know Shiny Chariot isn't a celebrity any more, but people wouldn't forget that fast. Eh, seems like an obligatory plot thread that they throw in with anything magic-related.

Well, being on a real-world ley line means they aren't on the moon.

P.s. Diana is Best Tsundere.

Forgetting doesn't necessarily imply Memory deletion. That reads more like it's losing relevance in the face of modern technology that can be used by anyone to me.

Despite my screen-name, ranting to you about One Piece is not my top priority.

I had an idea to make a five-point system of Witchcraft (and magic in general) based on the pentagram for my novel, but I'm not sure how to organize it.

[up][up][up]Not unless magic is being used to re-enact stories.

People still go to Criss Angel Believe in Las Vegas even though no one believes in magic. Same deal with the Shiny Chariot show.

Maybe just the traditional-entertainment value?

Or, y'know, to blow kids' minds.

I guess that even people who are gifted with the ability to use magic don't feel the need to learn or practice casting a spell with effects that can be fully reproduced by technology.

Sure you can have a good conversation with a crystal ball but a smartphone needs far less concentration. Having a largely technological world where supernatural ability is pursued as a hobby or niche thing rather than lost completely would be a nice change from the usual gotterdammerung.

Holy crap, he watches Foster's Home and Atomic Betty too?! And Teen Titans and and Kim Possible and MLAATR and original Powerpuff Girls...

I wasn't wrong liking this guy, but damn, he's more amazing than I had ever thought.

Maybe he never necessarily watched them all. When I do fanart of a show I am not familiar with, I simply look up reference images online.

The only one of those things that is necessary viewing is MLP FIM.

I admit I have enjoyed some of the others at certain points in my life, but I do not look back on them fondly.

Well, it looks like they have started on LWA 2 according to Kickstarter updates and that the current plan is the figure out what the plot is.

Another notable thing from the update is that Trigger wants to go beyond the 2nd episode, even going so far as to make a TV series or a feature length movie, but they need your support to make it happen.

Looking to upgrade to park bench.
