Nobody here plays Cartoon Action Hour, do they?

So, hey. I've got a hankering to GM Cartoon Action Hour with some friends I know online. Not sure which version. Probably Season 2, the more freeform of the two.

See, I'm wondering if anybody plays this, because I'd like to ask if it's possible to make this game more "90's", for lack of a better term. I really hate how the creators of this game basically pretend that nothing beyond the 80's ever happened, ever, because in my book, 90's cartoons are always better, in every possible way. But enough of my biases!

When I say 90's cartoons, I'm talking more like... Swat Kats, Gargoyles, Pirates of Dark Water, Beast Wars, etc. A little more focus on plot, a little more continuity, the occasional villain death, all that good stuff. I do like the mechanics of CAH, I'm just wondering how they could be modified to suit my needs.

I would want to play, but I don't have a copy.
