The turtle in the image is not a photographically enhanced live-acted reptile. It is a stop-motion model. Here's the scene with the turtle in question, from the movie "One Million Years BC": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ef1Se8CTYl0
The image caption is also misleading since there's no attempt made to portray the turtle as a dinosaur. It's a real prehistoric turtle called an archelon, albiet a significantly embellished one.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I've seen the previous thread.
The archelon picture still doesn't illustrate the trope. It's not a live-acted turtle, it's animated. The trope description clearly states:
"However, sometimes, the filmmakers just don't have the budget to make a somewhat convincing monster suit, or an animatronic puppet, or stop motion, or even a crappily animated CGI monster."
(Emphasis mine.)
A stop motion animated creature CANNOT be a Slurpasaur by definition.
He's got a point. Here's a replacement, which features a dinosaur that is totally not an iguana. [1]◊
^^ Linking to it not because I thought you hadn't seen it, but because it's a good idea for an IP thread to have links to any previous IP threads about the same article.
Perhaps something about that should be added to the "policies" sticky? It says "Always check for [tags indicating previous discussion] before adding a pic or starting an IP thread for a page" but not what to do about it if you see one.

I prefer the first, this one is hard to make out.
Though the second suggested picture has a fake dimetrodon frill, it lacks human characters for scale. The iguana picture is indeed better.
Anyone else for the iguana-saur?
Honestly, voting Keep Until Better Image Suggested here.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI disagree. The current picture is not even an example. It's misleading and actively harming the page. No image is better than one that's not even illustrating the trope.

Misleading how? I do not get this.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanEver considered reading the OP? He explains it quite clearly.
Trope is "Real Life Reptile used to represent Dinosaur/Dragon/Monster"
The image is a stop motion puppet. Not an actual turtle.

If it's not an example, I'd much prefer to go with something that is...I wish I'd read the trope description a little closer the first time this came around.
What is a stop-motion model? And the second objection falls under Tropes Are Not Narrow.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWell, flipping my vote to neutral then.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanSome suggestions who are actually examples (I think. Some of them stop motion puppets are damn good)
He's going to gum us to death◊

The "gum us to death" smacks of Image Macro to me. The Iguana is too wide, I don't think it would look good at wiki size. The alligator is the best of the lot, but I still think the other suggestions are better.
Agree with @19 full on.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAgain, I'd prefer a picture with human characters on the side to get an idea of scale (and of poor pasting SFX to boot).
And several such pictures have been suggested
I really like the spiky alligator, and it looks decent at wiki size...it's the only thing so far that I would aside from the iguana.
That's really dark.
