Even because I think Fox doesn't own the rights for Vibranium. In Origins they fetch a metal that fell from the sky in a metereorite in África (clearly meant to be Vibranium), but they suspiciously never mention its name, which could be because they don't own the rights.

"All you Fascists bound to lose."According to wikipedia, Adamantium is actually public domain. They list some examples I was actually surprised to find, as apparently it's seeped its way into pop culture as a general technobabble shorthand for "unbreakable metal".
As for Viper, she's had some presence in the X-books as well as Captain America and the Avengers. So I imagine her rights are similar to Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, where both studios have the rights to her.
It was Adamantium.
Yeah, I think Adamantium even shows up in Final Fantasy IV. Might just be Adamant though.
All they have to say is that the robot is made of an "adamantine" metal.

Not Three Laws compliant. They did say Cap's shield is made out of Vibranium, so if they don't make Ultron out of Adamantium, it would seem the next logical option.
Actually, on second thought, going with Vibranium for Ultron might make more sense for movie Ultron since they've already established it while Adamantium is affiliated more with the X-Men movies.

Adamantium shows up in Warhammer 40k I think.
"War without fire is like sausages without mustard." - Jean Juvénal des UrsinsThis was pretty damn good. Finally, an X-Men Wolverine movie on par with some of Marvel's better films.
Adamantium is in everything now. People thought it was only Marvel, or that it was copyright protected?
Edit: Also, World Of Warcraft as a random example.
The Adamantoise is a recurring enemy through the series, who traditionally drops Adamantium stuff.

Yeah, adamant/adamantium is commonly used in lots of media sources.
Oh, hey, a new monster in Puzzles and Dragon! http://www.puzzledragonx.com/en/monster.asp?n=739
It doesn't even have to be metal, just a general "unbreakable" applied phlebotinum.

Hey guys, I saw they're releasing a side film to this called The Worineolve!* Anyone heard anything about it?

Adamantium was in Age of Mythology which was the material that made up the doors that held Cronus
While I don't doubt that (from you blokes' reviews) that its a decent film, I shan't be seeing it. I've never cared for the X-Men films, beyond the occasional Xavier/Magneto scenes, but I will admit that I actually liked Origins for the most part.
Granted, I'm not a particularly comic-savvy guy nor do I care about Wolverine's character (I've never liked him), but Origins was at least justified in centering around him. The X-Men Trilogy as a whole sucks because of it, but you can excuse Origins since it is...well an origin story about a specific character, though not perhaps the character I/we would have liked to have seen. The film as a whole had a pretty alright thematic structure, and I actually liked Sabertooth in it and all.
But I suppose its my lack of understanding for Wolverine's supposed character that makes me not hate the movie. And it's that same reason I probably won't appreciate this new one too
That being said, I do still need to see First Class, which I suspect will be the one X-Men film that I will actually LIKE.
"Impossible is a word to be found only in the dictionary of fools" - Napoleon BonaparteI disliked origins for a bizarrely plotted 3rd act and what they did to Deadpool.
Not to mention the utter waste of Gambit.
Origins isn't too bad all things considered. The plot really doesn't make much sense, Gambit doesn't work (but he's far from the only wasted character in an X-film) and Wolverine gets drowned out a little in his own film. It's much better than X3.
Am I a good man or a bad man?@111: With Human Gh Jack! I love that guy.
"Oh great! Let's pile up all the useless cats and hope a tree falls on them!"I just got back from seeing this. It was pretty good.
The standout moment was because of a guy in the audience though. The credits were starting and everyone was waiting for the stinger, but when the stinger started, a guy got up and ran out of the theater screaming "SPOILERS!" I don't know what he was thinking.
Not Three Laws compliant.Really good stuff. I noticed a lot of Japanese actors in it. Hiroyuki Sanada I immediately recognized, and al of the actors spoke in Japanese fluently.
The film had a lot of good action, and the period flashback to Nagasaki was pretty cool.
I loved the design of the Silver Samurai, and everything was well choreographed.
The healing factor thing throughout the film actually somewhat averted the "boring invincible hero" wolvie is most movies.
Almost all the actors were on target, and Hugh Jackman was perfect as usual for tough-as-nails Wolverine.
Stay during the credits.
David Bowie 1947-2016I think my favourite part of the movie was the fairy tale like retelling of Wolverine saving the Japanese dude during Nagasaki.
Same here Majora.

I had to look for downloads of the film to see the after-credits scene
talking about Sentinels and Magneto along with Xavier showing up
@Handsome Rob
Considering how big of a role and much of a Chess Master Cyclops has shown himself in recent events I'm hopeful that Cykes is in days of Future past.
"I don't give a rat's ass about going to hell. I guess it's because I feel like I'm already there." -MugenJust went to see this. It's enjoyable (and a good sight better than X3 or Origins, though not nearly as good as First Class), but one thing bugged me for the entire movie: since adamantium is sharp enough to slice through anything without difficulty, Wolverine shouldn't be able to use his claws to hold himself in place on the train - his claws should have just cut directly through the whole top of the train, dropping him behind it. Similarly, using his claws to climb things shouldn't work. If you're using a metal whose most important property (aside from "nigh-indestructable") is "it can cut through anything", then don't just ignore that fact when it's inconvenient.
My favourite bit was the stinger.

It may be sharp, but it has friction and eventually is going to run out of momentum.
Technically speaking, Adamantium has never been said to be super sharp, just indestructible.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."Even though the writers often forget. Adamantium's only special property is "doesn't break." Wolverine's claws shouldn't be any sharper than any other metal blade.

Yeah that would be more plausible
