...I haven't even got a single win yet. Annoying.
Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.Got my second Dungeon Run win today by smorcing down the dragon boss with my +2/+2 beasts.
Against king Togwaggle's will I took The Candle. And next treasure I picked Spell Damage +3. And that combination saved my run.
Four classes down: Druid, Hunter, Paladin and Warlock.
I was doing pretty well in my first Hunter run right up until I ran into the Trapped Room. >:/
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableI really am starting to fucking hate the dungeon runs. Like, why is it 1 loss and no three like arenas.
Got the guy who gives all his minions charge and RNG gave you only your expensive cards? Well fuck you.
Like, there's 0 strategy, It's just dumb fucking luck and the willingness to repeat doing it till the stars align.
Looking at the decklists from team Lul. Corridor creeper in every deck, shouldn't be surprised now that I look at it. Meeting the requirements to give yourself a free 5/5 is not exactly hard.
Man, I was getting my butt whooped in Dungeon Run and then I just completed four (4) in a row.
Best feeling one (1) was when I got Treasure Vault as Rogue and killed all but one (1) of the chests. Had like three (3) Wands of Discount. GG EZ.

"Evii is right though" -Saturn "I didn't know you were a bitch Evii." -Lior ValYup, was about to mention that Corridor Creeper seems to be pulling ahead as a strong contender for inclusion in any tempo-based deck.
EDIT: Finally got my first win with Druid. Decided to build for Jade Druid and conveniently ran into Azari as the final boss.

Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.Re: Dungeon Run being 1 loss and you're out.
Perma death is a part of the roguelike genre, which is what partly inspired Dungeon Run. Having three lives would also make the entire thing too easy, I think. It's difficult, but just enough to be fun even if you lose and give a sense of accomplishment if you do beat the entire thing.
Hardly? Finished it three times and none of them feel like accomplishment. Just feel like I've been lucky, not offered garbage choices of treasures or package and not meeting a boss that's a hard counter to whatever I am playing.
Feeling of accomplishment would require that I feel like I made hard decisions.

Your daily dose of salt: Bloodworm is a stupid card.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I did it! All classes done. Paladin was a heavy dude synergy deck against the last dragon boss. Shaman was against hte beholder using all jade cards and double battlecries. The shaman one was probably the most opressive deck I made so far. There was nothing my opponents could do to stop the tide of jade golems.

“You can’t be an important and life-changing presence for some people without also being a joke and embarrassment to others.” -Mark Manson. Not to add to your salt, but I love it as a Build-a-Beast option. I would never include it in a constructed deck (even my memes aren't up to that level and I've played some wacky deck), but I'm almost always okay with picking it for a Zombeast.
Edit: Speaking of memes: I think Quest Priest vs Quest Rogue certainly counts. But my opponent probably didn't know Caverns Below was nerfed, because their list seems pretty outdated.

That's a second class cleared - Warrior. The Eyeball is stupid and I won only because I had double Potion of Vitality, Justicar Trueheart and a plethora of big minions to take her to fatigue with.

grah@Ghilz: All I can say is I played a half-dozen runs where I just picked the things that seemed most powerful, and lost them all, and then one run where I picked for synergy, and won.
And I mean hey, it's like Poker: If it's all about luck, how do the pros always make it to the end of big tournaments every year? If Dungeon Runs are all about luck, how do professional players and streamers continue to get consistently good runs.
Yeah, luck has some impact, but I definitely don't think it's the only deciding factor.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes. All I can say is that I've never lost to the Beholder because it's really easy to force her to dump her entire hand by attacking those dogs she plays, and the free beam spells she gets every turn don't make up for having no hand.

I've now beaten the Dungeon Run with Warrior and Druid as well... both times passing the final boss by getting the fill-your-hand treasure and filling my hand with an exceptional legendary.
King Togwaggle's candle isn't worth much when you have seven Grommash Hellscreams.
The Revolution Will Not Be Tropeablei'm on a roll right now, i've got allclasses done except for priest, warrior and Druid. My zoolock thrashed The Darkness with all the +1/+1 minions I drew from my 1 mana hero power. Using all the candles and my hourglass as soon as possible basically gave me 4 free turns to set up and then I finished him with my Primordial Wand (which in my opinion is busted even compared to the other treasures). My C'Thun Rogue and my not-quite-jade-not-quite-elemental shaman both managed to make Xol discard her nether Portal thanks to her Howlfiends. My Dude Paladin could rush down Azari thanks to my hero power upgrade. I also had a Token Druid who beat the Trapped Room without any fatigue cheese. My token cards and +1/+1 uograde basically let me 3-attack minions at a rate that matched even the Sawblades, and I had cards that could buff them. Ended up losing to Vustrazs, though.
Next patch will include all the new beasts in DK Rexxar's repertoire. (the ones that cost 5 and less, of course)
I didn't even know that King of Beasts isn't in the selection. I could think of far more formidable picks for that position.

grahToast's scheme: King Togwaggle, A deck full of card draw, removal and armor gain, Explore Un'Goro, A Dead Man's hand, and a Skulking geist
Get all the named cards in hand Togwaggle, play Explore If the opponent swaps decks back, skulking geist him If the opponent tries to empty the deck before swapping back, get the best you can get out of explore ungoro and dead man's hand before geisting.

Ugh. 4 Dungeon runs. Got 3 Azari as the final boss. Lost all of them.
Well it happened... I lost to the Giant Rat...
This song needs more love.First Swashbuckler loots Pilfered Power. Second Swashbuckler loots Cenarius. WHO'S THE RAMP DRUID NOW?
In other news, Kingsbane Rogue is so much fun.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableI had an absolutely insane Dungeon Run win with Warrior. My dec kwas built around the Sulfuras Quest, and I got both the 6/6 Quel'dalar that deals 6 damage to all enemies after you attack (you get it by drafting both the Hil of Quel'dalar and the Blade of Quel'dalar) and the fishing pole that recruits a minion from your opponent's deck each turn (you get it from the rare encounter with the fishing murloc if you survive all his minions without damaging him). The latter won me the game against Sturmi, while the former led to a short but insane fight against Vustrazs. Quel'Dalar by its very nature destroyed all the chests by tur ntwo so while I was dealing 12 damage to Vustrazs and 6 to his minions each turn he was dealing 5 to me and and my minions each turn. One of the few minions who could survive that was a Golden Kobold I got from one of the treasures, so I played hi mand got a Tirion, who could survive it for two turns and give me even more reach after Quel'dalar broke. Unfortunately Tirion died sooner tha nI expected so I never got my last Quel'dalar hit in and I had to rely on a lucky Rag hit to win.
Got a druid dungeon win myself. Cthun druid with the 5+ minions costs 5 reward. Even got a Tree of Life, in case I needed more time.
