Oi, the rampant misuse of the term "mechanic" is getting annoying. It's probably more accurate to say that only Rogue, Shaman and Druid have unique Keywords (a subset of abilities, which are in turn a subset of the game mechanics).

Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation. You know, I'm surprised there isn't a "Give your Hero Divine Shield" card.
I can concede to that.
Still, Warlocks definitely have the demon theme going on, seeing as there are only two other Demons in the game that aren't Warlock's, and they are, I think, the only ones to discard cards (Fel Reaver doesn't count).
grahhey MTG calls keywords mechanics
I'll concede that point when we start tapping lands for mana in Hearthstone or whatever it is you do in MTG.

Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation. But then we won't be playing Curvestone!
As mentioned in my previous post, I've recently been playing the Aggro Mage that Trump's been playing as well. It''s such a fun deck to play that I've been playing more ranked than the normal grind to 5. Been spending a bit too much time on HS really.
What makes it fun is that almost all of its games go really down to the wire, yet unlike Freeze Mage they're pretty high tempo and you keep doing stuff and making important decisions. I don't have quite Trump's winrate.
Part of it is the learning curve, some time it's really hard to decide whether to ping a minion or the face on turn 5, I've counted at least 7 matches where that kind of a call decided the winner. There also seems to be a lot more of Warrior on EU than what he faces.
That's the biggest pitfall with the deck. It loses terribly to any kind of healing, and seeing as two classes come with the inbuilt version and paladin fills it's hand with the stuff, it's sometimes pretty painful.
Secondly, it can get some utterly horrible draws. All of its cards can be dead draws and it absolutely relies on drawing certain cards at a certain times. Don't draw your early game minions? You're very badly off? Don't draw your card draw early/mid? Almost out of it. No frost nova/other stall cards mid game? Yeah...
That being said, it absolutely crushes midrange shaman, does well against druids, warlocks and faster shamans. Even the paladin matchup is winnable. Plus with midrange shaman possibly becoming even more dominant, it's a good deck to learn.
Just played a match that really shows how not having counters in your hand huts and how tight those games are. Can't resist linking to it if you feel like checking it out.
On the changes, Reynad pretty much summed up how I feel about them.
EDIT: OK, that's five Warriors in a row. Maybe I'll take out this deck again after the Execute nerf.

Hey, Tyrande's promotion is free, maybe i could get he-and she is not available in my country.
Why the fuck do i get excited for something priest related? FeelsBadMan

Uni catYeah it's always annoying when content is region locked. It's nearly always related to corporate crossover promotions like this. I suppose I can somehow manage to live without Tyrande then. Not like I have a choice.
The thing that rankles me about this is that Tyrande is THE priest. If this were some no bit thing like Morgl, it wouldn't bother me but Tyrande is one of the iconic characters. Feels strange to cut out a portion of the fanbase like this.

What a waste putting this hero behind giving a credit card number to a place that gets hacked a lot and region locking... Blizz better allow access via something else because its serious BS.

Seriously. Everybody breaking out the pitchforks again? I mean, it wasn't an issue when Khadgar was released - sure, he wasn't region locked, but it was a limited-time-only offer and you had to pay for him. But people are calling this "scummy as fuck" because... why, exactly? I mean, I don't really know how they decide to do these promotions, but I'm fairly sure Blizzard doesn't get to dictate the TOC of Twitch Prime to Twitch and Amazon.
Was probably a bad idea to make it Tyrande of all characters, like what Gabriel said, but I think people are overreacting. Although maybe it's because Tyrande is best waifu (at least as far as Malfurion is concerned) and Khadgar's a shit wizard. I mean, it's not like anyone was going to play Priest...
Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.I'm kinda mad because i wanted to get Tyrande only to get "Lol, Region Locked"
I mean, it's just a skin but people do get really riled up by those things. Look at what happened with Overwatch and the Summer Games.
Of course, i can live without Tyrande, but it's a shame i can't get her by normal means.

Uni catIt's disappointing, I'll grant you that, and I think it was definitely a marketing mistake to tie this in with a region-limited promotion. Feels bad. My previous post was more in response to lurking on reddit this morning and thinking, "Great, way to squander the goodwill generated by the announcement of the balance patch."

Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.Anyone kind of bummed that Tyrande only has special interaction with Malfurion and not Illidan? And Khadgar doesn't interact with Jaina and Medivh?
Edit: Also, I find hilarious that the developers gave 3 Elf hero skin out of the potential 5 and more if the rumor of Maiev is true. Noxious would be so pissed.

Why waste time on QA when you got Twitch Money to get?
So if Druid is second / third-best deck on ladder and Priest gets farmed by Druid... Malfurion = abusive sergeant RIP husband confirmed.
Guys! I just managed to get Tyrande even though i was region locked! All thanks to this method
Thanks Reddit, i can't wait to get crushed as a Night Elf Priestess
Uni catThe more interesting news in this to me is that Amazon Prime and Twitch Turbo are now essentially linked services.
I would kinda like to get Amazon Prime for reals at some point so I'm not going to try for a trial right now (it would be the second or third trial I'd done.)
Does the Totem summoned by Tuskarr Totemic actually affect Win Rate?
The patch has gone live.
So is it worth running more than 2 COTD? I just disenchanted one
Also, what about Tuskarr?
Uni catJury's in the air still. Call of the Wild is still really strong for its cost, at least in a vacumn, the question is how or if Hunter can fit it into their gameplan. Tuskarr will almost certainly be run less if at all.
I don't plan on disenchanting any cards. Yogg is the only one I'd consider a sure thing but I don't have it. At the very least I will hold off on Call of the Wild before the meta has had a week or so to resettle. I still plan to use, or attempt to use, all of the non-basic cards that were hit by the nerfs.

I disenchanted Yogg and crafted a Thalnos, which I assume will continue to be good in a variety of decks.
The only classes to have a unique mechanic are Rogue (Combo), Druid (Choose One), Warlock (Demon tribe and, if you wanna stretch it, discard mechanics) and Shaman (Totems and Overload).
Hunters always had Beast synergy, but now Druids also have it; Warriors have been running with Enrage early and Taunt recently (to varying degrees of success) and Paladin is getting some Divine Shield focus.
