Play Druid? Seems to be the deck I saw most. I tried a good old fashioned Patron Warrior, figuring that the card draw would let me get to the meaty combos sooner. Worked okay, except when I faced Druids. Rush tokens onto the board and get Savage Roar and/or Power of the Wild up, or quickly ramp to massive taunts. Aviana is OP.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Zoo decks that have a sufficient pressure do well. Priest seems to be pretty much always a safe bet on every tavern brawl and druid has always had strong late, so it is a pretty great option
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesI think my dream is to have Beast Druid work, if for no other reason than the 12-year old in me who bought Magic cards for the pictures and chracters instead of any working strategy wants it to work. It would be at best midrange and I don't know how it would win besides Savage Roar combos but I do believe the cards exist for it now.
I did find a site with a deck building simulator. I might try building one and putting it up for critique, but I don't have the cards to actually run it.
In terms of druid decks I could actually play, I might have to go token Druid, with Violet Teacher, Force of Nature, Oynixia (the only neutral pack Legendary I have), etc.

The new arena meta is so tiresome. I did a 8 win run just now, faced 8 paladins, 1 warlock and 1 druid, 1 mage. Killed 7 Murloc Knights, left two unkilled due to loss.
That combined with the new random pack rewards (11 runs thus far, 2 TGT packs, 3 Classics and 6 Gv Gs (which I very much do not need)) has left me pretty burned out on arena.
They did say that TGT has increased odds of appearing for the first few weeks of the xpac.
Wait, only the first few weeks? That's the first I'm hearing about a time limit.
Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.Just had my best ever shaman arena run, went 6/3. It also got me my first TGT pack from arena. Which in turn gave me my first TGT legendary.
I'll give you one guess as to what it was.◊
Join my forum game!I played Miracle Rogue to win some games in this week's Brawl, it's fun although your chance to win is fully dependent on drawing Auctioneer. :P
I just finished a game with Randuin Wrynn where I was playing against a Mage and used Mindgames to get a turn 4 Mountain Giant, so the other player conceded and added me as a friend just to call me a "bith thieft" and then unfriend me.
Salty, much?

WELCOME TO MEME HELL!!!From experience, People hate losing to Randuin.
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.I like the idea of the priest deck but it is so expensive...
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesPretty much any a Priest deck I make is Randuin lite via the spells, because they're fun. Also Nefarian.
Decided to turn my brain off for this brawl and go Murlocs. Turns out, enemy Shaman also had Murlocs.
And got a Legendary out of the pack, too... well, Millhouse. >.>
But I also got a Faceless Manipulator out of that, so it's not that bad.
grahMan I want to make a dragon priest deck but damn I am missing Chillmaw, I don't see any other replacement.
I think I can replace Vuljin with maybe a BGH.
I've been trying a 'hand priest' deck recently. Cram in a whole lot of draw, plus twilight drakes and mountain giants. I've actually been winning a few games with it, it's kinda fun because my opponents aren't expecting it. :P
Join my forum game!I got a Skeleton Knight. I need another Mysterious Challenger. To dust, or not to dust?
“You can’t be an important and life-changing presence for some people without also being a joke and embarrassment to others.” -Mark Manson.Druid card draw ideas besides Ancient of Lore? I don't have the dust for epics and I need draw-into-combo levels of it.
Nourish is an option (a rare spell), although not quite as good as the 5/5 body.
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)Wrath, potentially Wild Growth, Nourish, and that is pretty much it. Druid's serious card draw is just built around the epic sadly.
...I might have just Mind Controlled Jaraxus.
Open to suggestions for this deck. I'm not sure what it needs (besides Epics and Legendaries I don't have) but in playtesting it lacks power to hit anything with enough force to matter and I've yet to be able to pull off the Savage Roar combo on a decent board. It can control an early game but it's more of a midrange curve.

It's adequate. I've played against it before. It punishes decks that lack board clears pretty hard, but its only way to get through taunts is the two Keepers.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Haven't won a single game with it though (out of about 5 or 6 so far, in Casual). :P Maybe I don't know how to play it well yet, but I don't have strong faith in the cards right now.
Like, does it need Haunted Creeper AND Echoing Ooze? Would I be better having something in the 3 or 4 mana range? Maybe if I had Kel'thuzad in it? Is there a better 1-drop I can use?

Is there a dominant strategy to this week's brawl other than "play big cards sooner"?
Current thing I have thrown together is a (bad) Taunt-heavy ramp-ish Druid. I like Druid but I'm at a loss as to what to use it in for; I think I need to give up on my attempts of a workable agro Druid in the current meta.
