That animation has a little too much flashing in my opinion.

The chance of inducing photosensitive seizures* is totally consistent with the reference though.

(*- not claiming that is actually likely)

[up] Not too much flashiness, too much flashing. I get the joke but my eyes don't enjoy the strobe-like effect during the transformation.

Just be glad you won't see the animation much. tongue It's a shame the best animations belong to cards that never see play, like E.T.C. and King Krush.

[up][up]I am pretty sure that is part of the joke too. But I guess it is a problem if it hurts your eyes.

[up]True.

Datamining on patch 8036 reveals the possibility of a Blackrock Mountain purchasable adventure mode in the future.

That would be a bit odd considering that we already have a lot of cards related to BRM and the Dark Irons in the game. I mean, Ragnaros would be the ideal end boss of a Molten Core raid. Maybe Blackwing Lair and Nefarian instead? That content could add some synergy to the Dragon card type.

Blackrock mountain could be interesting, I could see them focusing on both giving Molten Core and BWL raids at once with only the major bosses for each and the cards could be cherry picked from them both.

Ooh card ideas

Core Hound pack: Summon 3 2/2 hounds; at the start of your turn summon 2 more hounds if one is alive, limit 3 on the field at one time.

Nefarian: enemy hero power is disabled while active.

Hunter spell, Tranq shot; removes all enrage and buff effects on all enemies.

Drakonids would be interesting: they could battlecry as randomly immune to spells or physical attacks, or switch each turn. Chromaggus would get this power, of course, as the ultimate Drakonid.

Tranquilizing Shot would be more like a Silence effect that also does damage, much like Earth Shock. Dispelling enrages and buffs is a bit too situational.

Moira Bronzebeard as a legendary minion... I wonder what her effect would be: buff all Dwarf cards? If your opponent has a Dwarf, become mind controlled by it? Give a random Dwarf +2 attack?

They could still have Ragnaros as a boss. Either it gives out a different reward (or none), an alternative Ragnaros card with a different name or an alternative Ragnaros card with the same name. The second option would mean you can have two Ragnarosses in your deck (but they do different things). The third option would mean you can only have one, so you get to pick which effect fits your deck better. I like that last option, personally.

I don't think we need to see any more Molten Core. It's already got a lot of representation (Baron Geddon, Core Hounds, Ragnaros), and quite frankly the bosses are pretty unmemorable because it's the first raid and they hadn't come up with truly interesting mechanics yet. If this pans out, I would expect it to focus entirely on the dragon side of things.

Nefarian would be a perfect narrator for a raid.

[up][up][up][up] Remember she was kidnapped and forced to work under what's his face. He would probably be the card but summon her as well, if he dies she goes to the enemy side.

But she could still give 2 attack to all dwarves, silencing her gets rid of the betrayal drawback but also gets rid of the attack buff.

Oh yeah some drunk dwarves from the bar could be a card, make them like 4/4 for 3 attack a random enemy at the end of your turn or something.

[up] He was already hamming it up in blackwing decent.

Thaurissian as a legendary minion that summons Moira Bronzebeard as a battlecry; when Thaurissian is killed, Moira changes sides? Interesting concept.

Remember she was kidnapped and forced to work under what's his face.

Except for the part where Moira wasn't forced, but instead fell in love with him and got pregnant with his kid. And then got her kicks dressing up like Slave Leia. For some reason.

Warcraft lore, learn it, love it. (Or maybe hate it.)

And then took over the Dark Iron clan and generally became pretty badass. Stockholm Syndrome leads to token anti-discrimination? Only in the Warcraft universe.

Edit: Congratulations to Massan for winning Pinnacle 3 4-0 vs. Dog, in the Twitch stream that concluded just now.

[up][up] Meh that was added mostly in cata, the oldschool version was kidnapping and display ala Slave Leia, you free her by killing him or kill her in the boss fight.

One of which would give you bonus loot I forget which.

Has anyone else noticed a drastic upswing of Druid Mill lately? And by that I mean it's been moderately popular before but I've been seeing at least one nearly every day lately, and I've not been playing a ton.

Edit to add: ...and some of them have been surprisingly effective. *grumble*.

I've noticed plenty of Druid Mills too. Thankfully, the only deck I play anymore is Rouge Mill, so I tend to destroy all of them. I exhausted one of them for the maximum 36 damage because I had a lucky game where both of my Coldlight Oracles and both Shadowsteps were in the bottom ~6 cards of my deck, so he had no idea I was running mill until the end.

Mudkip's final evolution is in fact NOT Mudkipperino.

I tend to give away my Mill Rogue by playing cards like Anu'bar Ambusher and Dancing Swords, even if I don't get to my actual mill combo until the end of the game. Mill Rogue versus Mill Druid is a hilarious match.
