Yang is confirmed to be fighting Tifa. called it.
If they do to Tifa what they did to Cloud, Yang will probably win.
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-Mae"Hey, Yang, wanna do me a solid and get killed?"
I wonder how they'll make everyone angry this time.
I remember finding some cals that pegged Yang at casually breaking the sound barrier in basically all her fights. They could use those.
Well, WHY NOT?
"Your hair... There's just, so much of it..."
"I WILL DESTROY YOU"
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenPersonally, I love Tifa's hair more than Yang.
I wouldn't mind whichever way the match turn out, as long as it ends with both girls engaging in a hot and wet makeout session.
Except, well, not really. That would be weird.

Can't wait for the upcoming Yang Bang.
.......I'll see myself out now.
I'm rewatching Dance Dance Infiltration right now. Perhaps I misinterpreted this but... she says she can't form a meaningful relationship with anyone. It's like Nora and Ren are chopped liver to her.

Dance Dance Infiltration...have I mentioned how much I love that title? Because I love that title.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. She said it's because of Jaune that she's been able to make friendships that will last a lifetime. She's basically saying that meeting Jaune has enabled her to obtain seven true friends for the first time in her life. Whether Jaune can really take the credit for that, is another matter.

If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.I don't see why he can't. He's the only person who treated her like everyone else, which made Prrya realize that other people might feel the same way.
Now I also doubt Jaune will ever bring it up or try to take credit for it.
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeI'm not thinking of RWBY because Jaune's relationship with Ruby is effectively why the two teams are close friends. I'm thinking of Nora and Ren. Since they had to be grouped together, they'd have to find a way to work together. I was acknowledging that some people may interpret the evolution of the Pyrrha/Nora/Ren in different ways.
Personally, I agree with you - Jaune was able to open her eyes and help her relax into new relationships with the people she needed, and had the opportunity, to bond with. But I have seen people argue that Jaune has nothing to do with Ren and Nora being on the team beyond choosing the same the chess piece Nora chose.
If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.Ah okay, i gotcha.
On a bit of a tangent, i have really high hopes for Jaune. He's probably the most interesting character, and seeing him live up to his potential would be awesome. I want to know more about what happened in the past relating to him.
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeHis Aura is apparently very powerful, so he's probably been kept away from a hunter lifestyle to protect him. He's filled his head with the glory of being a hunter, but his family and ancestors - who have the experience - probably know how dangerous it can be.
There may also be something contentious in his family background.
What I've been waiting for, ever since the forgery reveal, is whether the tournament will bring some public revelations about Jaune and put Ozpin in the crapper - especially if Ozpin knew and let him in anyway. When Ozpin was put in the dog house over the breach, I figured Jaune's transcript might get stacked on top of that.
I do think Ozpin knows, hence the 'well done, young man'. He didn't praise anyone else, not even Ruby. Hell, he could have engineered Jaune obtaining the fake transcript in the first place.

If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.Yeah, i definitely think that Ozpin at least knows about the transcripts. I haven't thought about him arranging it though.. That'd be interesting.
I really hope to see a lot more defining character moments with Jaune, especially if the fact that his transcripts are faked are revealed to all.

"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeI doubt that will happen during there tournament though.Personally I think it will happen much later in the the series. When he has established himself as has a warrior just as competent has the rest of the cast.
I do hope we get to see his tactician side in the tournament.JNPR as a whole did get not much action last volume.
In any case,RWBY has a panel tomorrow at NYCC.What do you guys hope to see? (besides a release date)

Also tomorrow is supposed to be a good day for RWBY fans according to Gray.
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged Menannouncement pls
And yeah Jaune's great. Wanna see something good from him.
I DON'T CARE WHAT BUT I NEED IT
I am not particularly fond of Jaune. He eats up a bit too much screentime and development for someone not on the main protagonist team in a series about said team that has apparently barely even got itself started, he feels really generic, and Pyrrha's character arc seems to revolve entirely around her relationship with him, which really rubs me the wrong way.
I'd probably have a better opinion of him it the series focused more on him being best buds with Ruby (that one bit with them at the dance was easily the highlight of that particular mini-arc), but the series seems fixated on making him a major character when he really shouldn't be. While team RWBY always feels like they need to be (and are, as they should be!) the center of the story, even despite the often lackluster writing, team JNPR in general feels like they're just around to be around- side characters that the writing team decided to give more screentime to even though they don't really have the substance to back it up.
but HOW?*drops head in*
Hello people of the TV Tropes RWBY thread, and sorry to interrupt the Jaune talk with something pointless. I haven't taken the time to fully read the thread, especially since I only recently watched the series somewhat recently (Though I definitely enjoy these characters). But, I did have something stupid I wanted to at least share somewhere, so here goes.
If the Coco/Velvet pairing still lacks it's fandom-based name yet, I motion for it to henceforth be referred to as "Easter Bunny".
...
*retracts self back into ceiling*
Of course it's stupid. Even I admit it's stupid, and Superman is one of my favorite comic book characters.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?
