Hey guys, Stranger here with another new idea.

Some of you might remember me rambling on about KLLR RWBY, a crossover with the Killer Instinct game—specifically the 2013 version.

See, I've plan for the next chapters to branch; depending on the poll's outcome, either we'll see Jaune-Pyrrha-Jago vs Spinal first or Ren-Nora-Orchid vs Fulgores first.

Then I had an idea for OC's to make things interesting; based on famous actors.

It just came up, so nothing concrete, but I want Vincent Price appearing when Orchid entered the Ultratech base and being all villainous. Maybe with Peter Lorre helping.

The next story will have RWBY team up with Hinnmatoom, aka Thunder. I have an idea for him having a partner either being based from Lee Van Cleef or Charles Bronson.

Thoughts and advices?

I have a feeling that most people here never even heard of that game to offer you any advice.

I only know that it's the game that codified combo strings (even though they weren't "real" combos) and invented the combo breaker, complete with annoying meme. And that it received an XONE reboot with individually downloadable characters, to mixed reviews.

I'm probably the only human being who have ever thought of making a RWBY crossover with Killer Instinct. I know what I'm getting when I made this; almost NO HELP WHATSOEVER with exception of ridiculously few people.

The reboot was announced in E3 back in '13, it's like THE biggest video gaming convention. The only ones who don't know are the ones not interested in fighting games, but you should've seen the hype. And this is coming from someone who never played the older games.

The teased on would be the Final Boss ARIA.

So... you think that Cinder can take on Cinder Fall? I'm so writing about that; with him as Ben Ferris pre-transformation and post-transformation.

Sounds like a fusion of the Human Torch and Handsome Jack.

I don't know, they seem evenly-matched, with what little we've seen of Cinder thus far.

You know what I want to see?

Cinder fighting Shirou from FSN:UBW.

Everybody wants to see someone fighting someone else from the Fate/Stay series. I know it's awesome—I've watched it—but it feels like Final Fantasy Vii; overrated.

Bah, nothing can be done about it since it's been in the mainstream since it's debut.

Yeah, Reboot!Cinder is basically evil Human Torch, but he's a former Spec-Ops turned thief for hire. The new backstory said that he was hired to find out about Ultratech's Cinder Project and for months he had been gathering info until ARIA found out.

She gave him two options; join the Cinder Project or die. As you can see, he made a choice and is having fun being what he has become.

Seriously, the new story made for the reboot is so engaging, makes me wish more fighting games have kickass stories. Sure Soul Calibur and Mortal Kombat have them, but I want something cinematic. Make the players give a damn about the characters.

Grrmgrrmgmrgmh.

You were the one posting FS/N videos here long ago! May I ask what these franchises have in common? My understanding is that FS/N is about a tournament between deities or supernatural warriors, and the main character and a bunch of other humans get wrapped up in it.

Technically, I was only posting one specific scene from Fate Zero, a prequel to FSN.

I don't really see that much similarities and I honestly don't really care. It's just that the franchise have pretty neat abilities^note Like, being able to copy any kind of weapons you have seen, turning any weapon you touch into a superweapon, being able to kill anything in one shot etc... and the animation company that makes them has really cool animated action sequences.

That's not what I meant; lack of sleep messing with my brain lol.

I know MK 9 has a fantastic story mode, and it continues on in MKX. But as I said, I want more fighting games to be that cinematic. I hope Street Fighter V has a decent story.

But previous MK before 9 weren't that cinematic, were they?

Yeah, all the Fate/Zero Berserker and Armored Titan video spam got old very very quickly. Thank goodness dRoy managed to find videos to show off besides those two.

I will say, with the Killer Instinct stuff, I honestly find it more interesting for RWBY to take on more of the KI characters, but that's just me. I think it's issue with notoriety, since it's an Xbone exclusive, and a free to play title at that.

The title and the music made me think of Tekken's Craig Marduk, and Marvel vs Capcom.

Random question.

So, in this series we have characters who can use special abilities called Semblance.

Semblance to...what exactly?

I think there was either canon or very plausible fan-explanation, but I cant't remember.

Well, if you're looking for a broad definition:

Which to me implies that the Semblance is something shaped around what that person wants or what they believe about themselves.

But I think you're asking the wrong question. "What is [a character's] Semblance a semblance of?"

Ruby acts asocial and shy - she can move away from others - but she's actually energetic and silly - she can move really fast. Weiss acts like her family name is all that - her glyphs somewhat resemble the family emblem - but her family situation is multi-faceted and we know their business is controversial - Weiss's glyphs have multiple functions and it's debated what some of them do. Blake thinks her Semblance is cowardly - she uses it to evade attacks - but the next time she uses it, she uses it offensively - it makes for a great distraction (thinking that way, I have to applaud Weiss for giving Blake the dust at that moment in time).

So... a Semblance is a semblance of their personality.

Hmm, sounds plausible enough.

Fittingly, Yang's semblance is powering up when she gets hit- She's confrontational and direct, but seems to shrug off personal problems easily.

And Pyrrha? She wants to pull people to her, but her status ends up pushing most people away, just like magnets can attract or repel others.

That leaves us wondering what Ren and Nora's are.

Despite it being a free-to-play, the work they put in it is fantastic. Similar to Ace Combat Infinity.

Anyway, regarding KLLR RWBY, I need your votes on what I should write first for Chapter 3.

or

Ren-Nora-Orchid vs hordes of Fulgores which culminate with them facing off Type-03, aka the latest model seen in the reboot?

I need help you guys; I want to write both but I dunno which to write first.

I don't think the semblance is a semblance of their personality. I think their personality and their semblance are both a 'semblance' of their soul... which would make them connected, but they're both symptoms of something else, rather than one being shaped by the other.

Everything in this show seems to be about the soul. I'm betting the Grimm are related to the soul, too... the soul of what, is the question. The planet itself perhaps? The moon?
