I think the fact that a Maiden was hit by an arrow when we see people block bullets all the time was kinda dumb. Particularly when we see Mercury and Emerald dodge lightning literally in the same fight.

It was a special arrow...custom made for defense piercing, one of the best items in the ga...show. Also it might be a while before someone gets shot while their aura is depleted...because that also matters.

She was immobile for that. Come to think of it I think every character that's been hit with Cinder's arrows was immobile or not paying attention, which makes one wonder why she uses them in the first place when a big bullet would do the same thing.

She hit her with like 3 exploding ones (That make the same firey eye explosion she later can generate with her Maiden power.) which took down her aura then shot her to the unauraed back when Amber was trying to finish off Emerald (dodging was probably not an option since Amber was pretty sluggish and beat up)
In fact it's interesting that even though the villains are stronger than the heroes and are better trained at fighting human opponents anyway they still tend to get their wins with cheap shots and surprise attacks. Like saying an honorable duel where you match blow for blow is just not how you win.

Someone made an account in May just to create a bunch of Fandom Berserk Button entries. I frequent several RWBY fandoms have never seen several of these so, if I put a link here, could people take a look and see which ones are valid?
Even if they're all valid, they need a rewrite because the person who added the entries was a bit excitable. Given the poster's response to me and the fact he hasn't made any other posts except to make these entries, I'm wondering if this is borderline importing drama.

Yes, there were three I know have cropped up - and I've suggested rewrites of those three (the 'original' Japanese issue (which might have burned out into a fandom joke by now), the anime issue, and the LGBT characters issue). I was wondering if any of the others are valid.

Well I'm pretty sure they announced the official English RWBY dub just got licensed at RTX this year so... here's hoping they get Patrick Stewart for Jaune.
Wellllll... I mean here it's kind of a sore point for me because I don't get calling her Black, but I've never seen anyone call the others by those names.
