Huh, I guess it really is a break time.

After much debating and thought, I'm considering pronouncing this RP dead and cutting all three threads off from further posting.

Why? There has been hardly any activity with the plot or characters lately and I've grown disenchanted with this RP over the tumultuous past I've had with it and some of its players.

So unless there are any major objectors, can I pronounce this RP dead and close the threads?

Yes, I want this RP to live.

Last time someone shut down a RP I was in, I had no control. I at least feel like I have a small portion in at least attempting to salvage this one.

I apologize for not having written anything as of lately... I've been feeling rather down on this past few days. That's what happens when you have to deal with clinical depression: There are periods when you feel so bad, that you can't even think with clarity, despite not being a reason behind those feelings of dread and despair.

So, please, don't kill the story. I just need some time to recover.

The plot is still going nowhere, we've hardly gotten a lot of posts since I made the announcement and a whole slew of other things.

Does it need to happen anytime soon? Jashin is supposed to showcase the Marines' progress with the Electronic Gauntlet to Gerald after all, and I'm sure there's other stuff to address. We shouldn't obsess with one point so much we ignore other possibilities.

Really cause so far we've hardly gotten that much posting about that or anything else.

I should've banned you for writing in the moment where Faith accuses Loke of wanting to rape Celeste. Seriously that crosses the F*cking line for me but I did my best to hold back.

K Kut, let's just skip and do the damn Funeral already. You didn't post the damn thing in the few weeks of inactivity, let's move on.

@JR: Characters' reactions and perspectives aren't (or, at least, should not) be 100% representative of their authors' personal vision.

Was Faith's reaction to Loke rather cruel? Of course it was, but it was also completely in-character for her, due to her lack of social skills and her unusual backstory. That doesn't mean KK's perspective about the issue is the same.

...And the same is also true for the opposite: Celeste always tries to see the best of people, and she'll always give them the benefit of the doubt, because she believes there's good in everyone. But I, on the other hand, always end up focusing too much on the people's negative aspects, and I always tend to assume the worst out of everyone, even from the people I genuinely like.

...So, yeah: Characters' and authors' reactions and perspectives aren't (and should NOT be) always in-line.

@Troy: Actually, I think this is my fault, because KK's rhythm has slowed down drastically because he has been giving me time to post again... I'm sorry.

@KK - So, I've got ask you for a very important favor, pal: Please, continue with the funeral part of the deal, even if I don't post anything in the mean time.

I appreciate your concern for my current state, but, as the British poet said: "(The) show must go on". Don't let my inactivity hamper the progress of the story...

It seems that kutwar is the root of all evil here (I know I spelled it wrong but I really don't care right now). Of the people who recently signed up, myself included, I can safely say that this was not what we were expectin'. Jon, you should've banned kutwar long ago. I was actually hesitant to join this RP simply 'cuz he was here. Get to the the funeral and get it over with so we can get to the kaiju crushin'. As for Kutwar, if his decisions are so bad then why can't we just veto them? He shouldn't have so much control.
