Okay, so the game is out overseas. Is that Gag Censor still there? How do I get the DLC? How do I even get the game? <_>

The "censoring" is still there, PSN and either PSN or the CE.

I love the manga. Pretty sad that the translation project is more or less dead.

I never understood the Gag Censor, really. The stabbing of Five wasn't worth the censor (especially given what happened immediately thereafter she got back up), and the "muting" of Dito's rant killed the impact of his backstory.

Yeah, how can the Gag Censor be removed? There are two versions of it - with the chibi heads and with a scared woman.

The scared woman is Zero's Japanese va. And there is only one version of the Gag Censor—the one with he actress was a pre-alpha screening shown while the game was still in developement.

There's also the "muting" of Dito's rant at how Five took advantage of him. Is that still "censored"?

Fuck imps. Just fuck all of them.

It's just part of the joke.

Were the pre-order bonus item codes sent as an e-mail? I pre-ordered the collectors edition back when it was first available but haven't received any e-mails from them (either for the codes or the shipping notice) even though I got the game the other day.

How's the gameplay? I hear there's a lot of technical issues and loading problems.

Like Nie R's but better. Some framerate issues before we get patch 1.02.

Loading sucks, but otherwise it's not bad. I've had zero issues with the actual combat. I have issues with all-over-the-place audio, though. Half the time voices are super super soft, or tinny sounding. Except Mikhail. Mikhail is always clear as a bell.

Also, check your spam for dlc codes. That's where mine ended up.

Also also, MAN unlocking Branch D is a slog!! At least I'd already found all but about three treasure chests, so not much of that but oy! So much so much gold I need!

During the first half-hour, I did not find a single reason to care about Zero the murderous Jerkass. I don't care about spoilers, just tell me why she's murdering everything in sight.

Because her sisters are murderous jerks just like Zero and incubators for an eldritch abomination that's gonna fuck up the planet if they're not all slaughtered.

She's also an incubator herself and fully intends to commit suicide by dragon (the only thing that can actually kill an intoner) once she's killed the rest.

Holy shit, my mind is blown.

Remember that Partition guy from the loli Utahime Five manga that heals One and wanted something from the Cathedral City? Y'know, Partition.◊ Weeell, he's in the game.

According to the credits, Partition is voiced by Iemasa Kayumi. Iemasa Kayumi is the voice of the narrator Zero murders in the beginning of the game. Partition is Mr. Narrator.

I would like to point out that Five is voiced by the same chick who does Rangiku Matsumoto's English voice.

Quite fitting. Oh, and the reason she's killing all their soldiers is because she's giving them all a collective Mercy Kill.

In the end, Zero ends up as the only one of the Intoners that anyone can root for.

I just beat Five... or rather Phanuel.

I'm rather disappointed that I didn't get a chance to actually take Five herself on.

Anyone good at haikus?

Found this. Noteworthy thing about this that it has Shi ni Itaru Aka and Utahime Five on there with the former having Ch6 up to 19 and the latter starting at Ch1 then skips to Ch9 up to 12.

So I came across this game and for some mysterious reason I want to play it despite knowing absolutely nothing about it beyond a few skimmed gameplay videos and how it's apparently full of Refuge in Audacity and has bad framerate. (If it was for the Vita, I'd buy it immediately since PS 3 Vita has no games.)

Things I want to know are:
How much playtime can you expect out of it?

How seriously does it take itself? (Because while I don't like Black Comedy normally, making it cheesy enough and visual has it's charm. Maybe just because you know there's no way it's dishonest. On the other hand, if it does have a significantly serious atmosphere, I don't want it, unless it's only serious in a certain way.)

Is the English dub bad or good?

And is it walkthrough heavy with tons of missables or is it easy enough to figure out?
