I actually like the Brett Young and Thomas Rhett songs. They're barely country, but they're good.

I'd say the chart's a bit of a mixed bag, probably the most boring week we've had in a while. I mean, sure, Redbone, Unforgettable and Rolex are in the top 20 (first two are great songs, can't complain), but the top 15 has barely even budged from last week save for two songs, and the rest is overall pretty boring.

Katy Perry was lifestreamed for four days straight as part of her "Witness" album rollout. She was continuously filmed except for bathroom breaks. Yes, she was being filmed when she was asleep too. I only watched, like, about an hour of it. Anyone here watched it?

Another boring week. Besides the new David Guetta single nothing really interesting seems to have dropped (and even then, even though I like it, the Guetta single is admittedly fairly derivative).

[up] Unless you mean interesting in the sense that it shook up the Top 20 a bit after a stagnant last few weeks, I would hardly call 2U the most interesting song on the charts even despite some of the boring stuff that's currently big right now.

Well, jeez, that's a lot of debuts, and most of them are actually good. If even one of them manages to stick around a while and become a hit (besides maybe Fetish), this year's automatically a million times better than last year in terms of music that's actually popular.
