Welcome to Estalia, gentlemen.
Oh God. It's one pose from one character that's still sexualized as hell anyway. There's no reason to be upset at its removal.
I think that's precisely the point of the video.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.If it was, then I wouldn't be seeing it praised by the anti-censorship crowd all over the internet.
There's currently a discussion in the Overwatch thread about that, The consensus seems to be that Blizzard just executed the whole thing poorly.
It was basically: One guy at the forums complained about the pose; Jeff Kaplan said - out of the blue - 'yeah, we'll change it'; Shitstorm ensues
Kaplan later went on to clarify that they were already mulling over changing the pose; the player's post was just the last bit of encouragement they needed. Shame he didn't say that in his post, considering how paranoid people these days are about these things.

Welcome to Estalia, gentlemen.I personally wonder why everyone is so focused on her pose and no one is commenting on the skin-tight pants that outline her rear.
I mean, you can take away the pose...but the pants will still be there.
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)That was very, very cathartic to watch. Especially since all these "controversies" were topics that could have actually had been discussed in a sensible way.
Instead we got asshats on both sides of every topic turning said topics into drama and outrage-mongers turning a profit by fueling the flames.
What happened to honest, sensible discussion?

Welcome to Estalia, gentlemen. The Drawn of VR?
Da fuk is that.
A typo.
Welcome to Estalia, gentlemen.@ Drunken In my honest opinion, it's good faith missing in a lot discussion.
Hyped for Hyperdimension Neptunia V 2Amen to that.
yeyI feel like TB comes off as kind of hypocritical in the second part of the video.
I also think he's going to regret this video later on down the line when he inevitably makes another controversy video.
I don't think these "non-troversies" are as meaningless as TB says they are. What we have right now isn't unique to the gaming industry; it's more of an extension of the current sociopolitical climate.
The conversations are worth having, but it's the way we go about them that's the real problem. So many people are willing to challenge, but too few are willing to be challenged in kind. So many hold values that they deem to be truths, and so many are using them as weapons, fighting each other for dominance.
Oh I have no doubts that he'll go back. Even though he's been good at keeping off Twitter and Reddit he still seems to have some idea of what's going on there, and he's still fairly active on Vine. He won't be able to resist.

Welcome to Estalia, gentlemen.
As someone who has read the series, that's really disappointing.
Welcome to Estalia, gentlemen.I know, right? I've heard a lot of good things about Eisenhorn and for its game to not be seen as good is really upsetting.
Let's hope if GW ever contracts someone to make an RTS about the Sabbat Worlds Crusade that they won't mess it up.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.
TB brings you satire. Also why is the video embed way too big recently?
