The current is very poor; unclear and dark. A GIF shouldn't need to be linked like that either. I'd be fine with a pull, though getting another cap from the GIF might work.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.I'm fine with a pull. It doesn't look relevant to the page at all.
Check out my fanfiction!See if anyone can find the Trope Namer doing this, for starters.
A still of Indy's hand under the door grabbing a hat would be just fine, I think.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.+1 to pull for not being demonstrative.
The image has motion blur, but that's a pretty subtle clue. This is why animated source material doesn't make as good an image as static source material so often.
PS: If we want to try Indiana Jones somehow, we've got to add the shot of him reaching back for his hat.

An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.I'd say make the Indie pic a two parter and show him rolling under a door and THEN get his hat.
That way, it'll be more obvious
How much is the hat bit part of the trope, though? The second paragraph mentions it, but is it a vital part, or an aside/variant?

That's why I've suggested to show it in two shots if one was to use the hat.
The hat bit isn't a requirement.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanYeah, I know.
It's just that it seems to be popular among the fellow tropers here.
Can we please continue discussing a replacement picture, please?
Clock is set.
Agree with pulling; JAFAAC.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Disagree with JAFAAC, but agree with pulling it anyway. Ninja!

Clock's up; locking for inactivity. No further action is to be taken based on this thread.
Without looking at the link to the animated GIF in the caption, the pic just looks like someone squatting by a partly closed door.
Perhaps a frame of him actually doing the role instead of of standing up from it after doing it would be better?
