Bump...caption crowner?
Yes.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanDone and hooked. Fire away.
I prefer the "it must be struck" caption as it explicitly states the gun is loaded.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanExcept that in the pic, the slide is racked back, so there wouldn't be a round chambered.
Huh?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanLook at the gun in the pic. What she's doing is textbook unsafe behavior, but the slide on the gun is racked back, meaning that the gun is probably shot dry and therefore won't fire.
That just means that it's not a bad idea. A strike against the other captions as well.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanNo, what she's doing is still a very bad idea. And unsafe gun-handling. And should not be done.
The only caption that fact affects is that "It must be stuck"

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Except that you always treat a gun as if it's loaded, regardless of whether it is or not...that's Gun Safety 101.
Bingo.

Yeeah, I do not know how firearms work for the most part.
Anyway, changed some votes there.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThere is a page on Gun Safety
In the particular episode a cartridge had failed to eject jamming the gun.

When a gun jams like that, looking down the barrel is very, very bad idea, because if the case slips loose and the gun unjams... well...
The leader's got enough of a consensus that we can roll with it. It's up and the tag is adjusted. I made the caption really small so it would fit on one line and replicate the standard "fine print" you see in TV ads. I'm fine to have it bumped up to normal size, but if you do, kick the link down to the second line so it doesn't wrap in the middle. Locking up.
