Feels more like they're firing a wave attack with their palms rather than "touching a barrier" or something. Maybe an image where a barrier is visible by the characters touching it should clear things up.

Is clear to me. I'd have to apply red paint to see something else.

Ditto. The relaxed nature of their hands and arms means I don't read it as an attacking move.

That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.

If they really were firing something, I would expect it to shoot forward or diagonal, not sideward.

Ergo, Keep Until Better Image Suggested

I would rather see a shot where the viewpoint is from behind the characters, not in front.

The current image is certainly not harmful enough to be pulled.

Suggestion for replacement? And why start an IP thread without one, unless you think the current is worse than nothing, a case not made in the OP?

[up]They could think it's better than nothing but that we can do better still; such threads have been started in the past, and if lots of people vote Keep Until Better Image Suggested then the better image suggestion can be searched for. Perfectly valid reason.

Still voting Keep Until Better Image Suggested. Seems perfectly clear to me.

In the past "we could do better" threads with no suggestion in the OP were immediately locked.

If that is no longer true, IP thread-starting standards have lowered. Why have a sticky about valid reasons for starting an IP thread? "We could do better" is conspicuously absent.

I feel that is policy-lawyering, but here I see a good case for keeping the current.

"Policy-lawyering"?! That was true for months. The lock was often accompanied by a reprimand.

This is a workshop and there is a protocol. We're not supposed to start threads like this.

Protocol does not work like a law. It's called a guideline for a reason.

Regardless, we all agree on keeping current image, so we might just as well close this up.
