A literal feminazi. Never thought I would get to see this.

Actually still no, as a Nazi it's highly unlikely she was a feminist, Nazism was strongly opposed to women's rights. Remember under Nazi rule the role of women was to produce children only, it was regressive even for its time period.

Female athletes get paid and treated like garbage. It's ridiculous.

Unfortunately, the sexism here is partly incidental: women get paid and treated like garbage because pretty much all athletes that aren't part of the "pro" league get paid and treated like garbage. Women certainly have it worse, but if you're not in the MLB/NBA/NFL/FIFA/whatever, you're not getting nearly enough compensation for your efforts. (And we've already covered why there's valid reasons for most sports to be sex-gregated.)

The fact that there's sexism on top of that is just rotten frosting on top of an already rotting cake.

Police: Chicago teen apparently gang-raped on Facebook Live. And none of the 40 so people who watched it could be bothered to call the police or anything.

[up]I remember hearing something like that happening before with a livestream. Prominent Call Of Duty Streamer accidentally left his webcam's audio on so it continued on until you could hear him threatening, beating, and what sounded like raping his girlfriend on stream. The people in the chat thought it was a joke.

Honestly pretty sickening...

The Daily Mail remains a classy newspaper

Daily Mail urges 'legs-it' critics to 'get a life'

The Daily Mail has told critics of its front page which pictured Theresa May and Nicola Sturgeon and asked "who won Legs-it" to "get a life".

The tabloid was scorned for focusing on the prime minister's and first minister's legs during talks on Brexit and a second Scottish referendum.

It said the piece by Sarah Vine was flagged as a "light-hearted" sidebar.

Mrs May played down the row, saying: "If people want to have a bit of fun about how we dress then so be it."

She told the Wolverhampton Express and Star that as a woman in politics she had often found that what she wore had been an issue "looked at rather closely by people".

The prime minister added: "Obviously what we do as politicians is what makes a difference to people's lives. I think that most people concentrate on what we do as politicians."

A spokesman for the first minister said the focus on Mrs May's and Ms Sturgeon's legs was "slightly surprising" when they had met to discuss Brexit and a second Scottish referendum.

He added: "Brexit may risk taking Britain back to the early 1970s but there is no need for coverage of events to lead the way."

Why would a "light-hearted sidebar" deserve front page coverage anyway? If it were kept to just that, I'd probably rate it a quick chuckle, but making it the main headline...

...I suspect that the original writer did not intend it to be a headline piece. This reeks of editorial meddling.

Ah, Legs-It is about valuing women's appearance/sexiness over what they actually say and do.

On a level I'm kinda surprised that it was the Mail and not the Sun.

On a happier note: US Women's team and USA Hockey reach agreement, boycott lifted. Seems as though most of the women's demands were met.

By that logic, thiefs could be suing their victims for flaunting their wealth. With "flaunting" being defined by the thiefs, no less.

If anyone really can't control their sexual urges, then they should be chemically sterilized. Not like women just want to look good, no, it has to be so a man desires them.

If anyone really can't control their sexual urges, then they should be chemically sterilized.
What does that even mean? Because actual physical arousal is an involuntary biological response. As any guy who went through puberty can tell you, boners just kind of happen. Often at really inconvenient and/or embarrassing moments.

Which isn't to say that sexual harassment is in any way okay, but I'm curious as to what your standards of "can't control their sexual urges" are.

Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.

Pretty sure the definition there was, "Commits sexual assault then tries to claim it's not really his fault, it's the woman's fault for being too sexy". Because that was the context in which it was brought up.

"I'm a man; I can't be expected to control my sexual desires! It's women's responsibility to keep me from getting boners!" is a popular go-to defense for rape.
