Either way, they're using Equestrian magic for lesser things than it should be
No, they're not. It's a tool they got. They're using it to enrich their lives. That's what you do with tools.
The problem with the foes they fought was that those people were using their magic to harm others. Have you ever heard the phrase, "Your rights end where mine begin?" There's nothing wrong with Rainbow Dash using her geode to super-speed to school and save time. There's everything wrong with Wallflower Blush using her magic stone to roofie people.
As an aside, do you have anything to contribute to discussion besides accusing characters of being awful, sinful, wicked demonspawn? I'm about 50% sure you're trolling at this point.

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.I'm already just going ahead and reporting, I'd advise doing the same.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell? One report should probably be enough.
How did this conversation even start since I don't really remember them using their magic for anything really mundane minus a handful of times to make doing their jobs easier?
"When I offered to make Norea my third back-up girlfriend she just glared at me and started throwing things at me.." Renee CostaOne of the shorts actually had a bit of a lesson on that. Their powers were going haywire and they couldn't quite figure it out until they realized they were overusing it for mundane stuff and made a resolution to cut back.

Speculation limited to what is shown on the official media and your own Wild Mass Guesses are accepted.
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt and say that Birdy isn't trolling, but they're really trying to push their Single-Issue Wonk and it's getting ridiculous.
He's been forum suspended anyway.
On another note, are all the shorts on Hulu or Netflix? I need to check 'em out.
As far as I know, anyone who has the Discovery app gets it early. Everyone else just has to wait until Hasbro uploads onto Youtube.
Speaking of which, several new shorts have been released, which has them going through more beach adventures. It seems to take place between the climax and ending of Forgotten Friendship since their "Best Friends" picture is them at the beach again.
I hadn't noticed it before, but Trixie gets bored halfway through Wallflower's song. Right before Sunset grabs Wallflower's bag, Trixie is leaning on the table, chin propped up in her hand, with a "how much longer is this going to be?" expression.
I didn't realize they continued dubbing the EQG movies in Japanese, so I decided to listen and wow, Timber sounds much less annoying in Japanese. Still don't really like him but I find myself less likely to yell shut up at the screen.

The right voice can make a lot of difference, yes.
Optimism is a duty.Fluttershy's song is pure diabeetus. Possibly one of the best songs in the entire franchise.
Reminder that the entirety of the uncut version of Forgotten Friendship has been officially uploaded onto Hasbro's Youtube channel:
- "A Friendship to Remember"
- "Homecoming"
- "Wiped Out"
- "Good Cop, Great and Powerful Cop"
- "Unforgettable"

Is it me, or does Equestria Girls get less and less attention these days? The last few entries have not been movies so much as a collection of shorts. Even Forgotten Friendship is snipped into 10 minute episodes for no apparent reason.
Optimism is a duty. When did Equestria Girls ever get attention?
It started out as annual movies and a bunch of shorts released on the DVD. Now it's annual movies and a bunch of shorts released on streaming services.
The number of shorts is greater than it used to be, so I'd say EQG is receiving more attention, not less.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Man, you guys should see the Japanese version of when Sunset losses all her memory.
must..resist..urge to make..lame joke..must..fight..
New theme music also a boxI don't get it.
Dont get my post?
New theme music also a boxI'm not sure of the joke either :p But it does sound... overdramatic.
Optimism is a duty.Speaking of Japanese, it still surprises me that EQG is still getting dubbed despite the main series being dropped years ago, leading to Starlight getting the Marth Debuted in "Smash Bros." treatment.
Not entirely sure if that voice works for Starlight. Not an expert of Japanese linguistics, but it sounds too proper for her and I can't imagine that same voice in her debut or Cutie Re-Mark.

The newest special was pretty good. It was interesting that for once Sunset Shimmer and/or Twilight Sparkle were not the stars. Maybe it will lead to other TV movies starring other cast members.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.
I suppose, but it does help that they more or less stumbled into it rather than abusing some magic artifact.
Trust you? The only person I can trust is myself.
