I kinda like how she takes a little jab at Twi and her tendency toward books for research. I guess Twi's also done field study, but it seems like they're trying to create a direct contrast where both of them lean toward a different method. Regardless, that was pretty cute. Poor Sunset, though.

Not sure if this should go in the spoiler thread or not but four of the next shorts have been leaked in Spanish: 1 and 2 3 and 4

Most of them were rather eh, but the Lyra and Bon Bon focused one was amazing. That's probably the only short of the four I'll see again whenever it's released in English.

I'm sorta happy we're getting shorts about characters outside of the Mane6.

@Sonic Mario: I loved Lyra x Bon Bon short until the whole Peacock vs Owl thing. It's not that I didn't like it, it's just that...WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT ALL ABOUT?!

My personal favorite though ended up being Photo Finished. You could tell they had a lot of fun animating her.

I just realized that the Friendship Games logo only has the Mane Six's cutie marks. So even after Rainbow Rocks, Sunset Shimmer is still left out. Poor Sunset...

Yeah, the heart really clinches that they're doing this deliberately.

So, there's going to be some sort of Friendship Games special airing on 8/29 at 11:30 AM ET according to my channel guide. No other info though.

To be fair, Dash was pretty competent about it until Pinkie started really ramping up things to inanity (some of her early things were actually decent ideas). Dash is just a bit prone to tilting. And to be double fair, anyone other than Pinkie doing the dumb shit that she was would've been spotted instantly. It's only the Pinkie Field of Pinkie that protected her.

Ako & Morning: Agreed on the carried away part. I mean, the guy with the cellphone saying that things got weird is just shy of directly saying that Lyra and Sweetie Drops got completely sidetracked. By that point, it was just them trying to one-up each other in any way possible.

The 29th is apparently a sneak peek event. I'm willing to bet they'll be showing all of the shorts before releasing the rest online.

Photo Finished

I actually had more fun watching Photo Finish as a human than as a pony. I also like her assistants more in EQG than the mainstream verse. I go!

And here we have a short that is literally nothing but Tabitha St. Germain going into full Large Ham mode for 2 minutes, with a side of talking to herself.

Seriously I think part of the reason they introduced an EG Photo Finish is just so Tabitha could voice her again in a stand-alone short like this.

Luna didn't seem all that hammy to me. I see it more as Tabitha effectively playing the straight woman to herself, which is still hilarious.

I think he's talking about Photo Finish.

That's the beauty of Tabitha; you get flavors of ham, and Photo Finish is the ham we haven't really had in a while outside of cameos.

Ako: Ah, yeah, I read that as her hamming it up with both characters. I do find it funny that Luna was re-introduced with such a huge amount of ham, then she ends up being relatively level-headed in all other instances.

I seem to be unable to stop listening to the music videos for Rainbow Rocks over and over again.
