I'm hoping/ betting on something like sirens, since one of the themes is music, and the crew likes referencing mythology.

Wait... Are Sirens considered Demons or mermaids? e-e...

Originally? Neither. The Ancient Greeks didn't really have demons as such (though one could consider some of their things demons, I suppose) and while Sirens are often associated with mermaids now, they were associated with birds for longer and lived on land (admittedly, on small islands).

Well, Sirens' whole thing was "luring sailors to their deaths", so it's no surprise that they got associated with the sea.

And we have our first official clips of Rainbow Rocks! ... I don't like the song. Since I'm in the process of watching Littlest Pet Shop (toward the end of season 2; show's eh, but it was better in season 1 and I hear season 3 is better), I'll say it sounds like a low-grade version of one of the Bisket Twins songs from that show. In fact, as I try to recall the song, it just sort of transitions into "Two for One" in my mind. Also, wow, it's really obvious that Adagio has the same singing voice as Rarity (unless that isn't the case, in which case ignore that statement).

I guess it's good that Sunset Shimmer is being portrayed as genuinely resentful, but from what little we see, she's just kind of boring now. She's as mopey as people thought Luna would be before season 2. Also, it's odd that the previews show nothing about Twilight when the synopsis on theater listings talk about her returning.

And I guess the villains are sirens or something.

I liked both of the clips.So far the trio seem interesting and I do like there songs.I'm starting to warm up to Sunset,since even she knows that the last films climax was dumb.My hype has been somewhat rejuvenated.

Well hello Monster High rejects. I know the doll line itself has been ridiculed for that, but as soon as I saw the Dazzlers (especially Adagio's flunkies) I was like "Rejects! Rejects!"

I do enjoy the more subdued Sunset, though. I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens with her.

Also, it's rather amusing seeing Flash really pissed off.

I thought they were nice. A little disappointed that Twi is returning since I was hoping Sunset Shimmer would be the protagonist of the Equestria Girls universe but otherwise this seems like it will be good.

The first movie had a cafeteria song about bringing people together. Now there's a cafeteria song about splitting people apart. Yep.

I still think Twilight and Sunset would make a great Odd Couple. "Come on, Twiley, life's no fun unless you're cruelly manipulating everyone! I'll show you how!"

Um, no. They are usualy are akin to Harpies or mermaids I Saw the first clip and I noticed that the mist in question seem to come from their necklaces. Is there a trope for evil jewellery? (I guess that;s covered by Artifact of Doom)

Another thing I noticed that Sunset Shimmer is in Twilight's place so I don't think she s coming back (makes sense considering the 30 moons thing) AT least it will give a chance to see if Sunset;s Heel–Face Turn was truly genuine
