...Where was Shining Armor anyways? This is like, the first time we get Princess Cadance (what little of her we get anyways) but no Shiny. No Princes aloud at the Princess Summit or something? Was he off fighting epic battles?

That's why we don't see him after EQG. Twilight tells the story of everything that happened, next day, Flash Sentry 'volunteered' for some super secret mission far far from Equestria.

As far as Equestria, Shining Armor is not in the movie. In regards to the Eq G-verse, neither he nor Cadance show up.

Apparently enough people are being creepy and obnoxious in the theaters that EQD felt the need to put up a theater etiquette post.
No, I really haven't heard anthing about that. it's more the overall fandom paranoia about anything going wrong making everything think of course people are doing shit like that because that would be bad, so it must be happening. Without any real proof.
