I assume this isn't the Buckethead you're thinking of:
Nope. It's this guy.
Also, finally, a Buckethead thread! He's my favorite guitarist, even though I don't think his music can be classified in a genre. It's just... weird. But a lot of it is really good too.
As for his best song, I'd say Soothsayer, but I'm tempted to choose others as well.

The world doesn't end with you.Heard of him, and I think I may have heard one or two songs by him, but that was a long time ago.
Didn't know he actually wears a bucket on his head. Or that he's a single "he".
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle. Not many artists (with long careers, anyway) only stick to one genre. Your question is invalid.
But I'd say my favorite songs by him are:
- Jordan (cliche, I know, but it really is one of his few songs that strikes a perfect balance between being an accessible, normal song and a showcase for the experimental shredding he's known for.)
- Mantaray
- Sketches of Spain (for Miles)
- Big Sur Moon
- Electronic Sleight of Hand
I also remember liking "Want Some Slaw," but I don't remember the actual song.

This is the part where I write a disclaimer that that was a joke so people who took that more seriously than they should've get it, but thus ruining the joke in the process.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.Ha, that actually rings true in a way!
Anyway, has anyone here been to a live performance of his? How's the experience? I've only seen on videos that he does some weird stuff, but it seems amusing. I've heard different reactions though, so I'm curious to what people think, as I've never seen him live myself and probably never will.

What genre is he in?
What's his best song?
