Needs Help: Video Game.R-Type

Three images. Not one, not two, three.

The other two show up in the middle of the trope list, too. Going by the source of the page, it appears somebody was trying to use them as examples, but went ahead and used the page image formatting and code. There's no good reason I can think of for why we have to have an image exemplifying Moe Personification from the fanbase.

And as long as we're at it, I think the one that's the de facto page image is obviously shrunken.

Nobody's gonna mind if I pull the latter two, at least, right?

At any rate, the two in the body either need to be worked into the examples or deleted outright. The one that's actually in the right spot is decent, but I've got some others that I think will work better: Arcade title screen◊, the first boss◊, ship gallery◊

It's 1400×1050 (SXGA+), just odd.

It's from the arcade version, non-standard res.

I have a 350 px resize of the boss pic on my laptop that I can upload if it's the winner...which is starting to look more likely.

FWIW, the game appears to render at 384x256◊. Technically too wide for our wiki, but I'd imagine that it'd render this at a 4:3 aspect ratio on a TV monitor, so you could make it 341px wide without too much sharpness loss, like so:

I kinda like the last one, which does have the problem of a cropped interface, though they're all really close.

Well, the crowner's ready to be called and the boss fight's the winner; we just have to decide which version we like.

An idea: crop the left of the gameplay area, but crop the right of the UI. Also move the ship to the right, so we don't crop it out.
