The hiatus is probably just a excuse for CN to continue to push "Teen Titans Go Fuck Yourselves" down our throats.
At least the hiatus won't be as long as Rick and Morty's. That's going to have us waiting like half a year or more.
At least I have RWBY to keep me going for the rest of the year; that should last a few months.
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenI know it doesn't quite apply in this case, but I can't resist the opportunity to post this:
Hi-a-tus: noun. The inexcusable amount of time between airings of your favorite cartoon.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. We still got Adventure Time, ya whiners!
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell? It's not like this is a bad thing. That's actually a good thing, brains need time to process these three episodes of information.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Lauren Zuke is apparently hyping the episode up on twitter. She said she's been waiting for it to air as much as Catch and Release.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Well, it is not like I give a shit about AT myself. I mean, by that logic we have everything else that is still airing or will air son. Personally, I am exited for Jessica Jones next month.
@Known Unknown: Besides slightly different production processes (Wander Over Yonder bases storyboards on scripts, Steven Universe bases them on outlines), it's totally relevant.
Also, video embedding finally works on this forum again!

Bad news, we're going back on hiatus. Again.
Maybe it's deleted because whatever information you saw was INCORRECT!
It have been deleted, yes, and the whole account was set to followers only. That might have been more to do with harassment than being wrong. =/
Everyone's like "at least we have Adventure Time or whatever!" and I'm over here like "Steven Universe is one of two television shows I watch and is the only cartoon I watch."
"We're home, Chewie."Clearly you need to watch more cartoons
I mostly have a bunch of older cartoons to watch. Still have most of the DCAU to go through, plus the second season of Bojack Horseman, which is really good.
I'm looking forward to the Marceline special, sure, but I haven't exactly been in love with Adventure Time for a while now. Bear Bomb is good, I was wondering when those bears were coming back. Pony's not going on hiatus any time soon...right? And in the anime sector, Yuru Yuri's got a third season running!!! And Gochuumon Wa Usagi Desuka has it's second season.
but...ru always want steevn unverssss!
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Yes, we know, Season 6 of AT was one massive philosophical acid trip that dicked around with the plot lines (regardless of great episodes like Jake the Brick, The Cooler, Gold Stars, and Evergreen).
The writers have explicitly stated that Season 7 won't be as "heady", and the miniseries is giving Marceline some focus that she hasn't had since Season 5.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?It just occurred to me, if the whole Gem rebellion thing started with Rose, and by extension, her manservant Pearl. That's probably the reason Pearl thought Rose told her everything. Because she was Rose's confidant since before the Crystal Gems even existed.
The whole point of the rebellion was to stop Homeworld from hollowing out the Earth. At least according t the show. But don't you think it's also likely that the rebellion was about gems breaking free of their intended role in society to do whatever they wanted to do? Because Garnet and Pearl are clearly behind that idea.
I've missed so much Adventure Time that I don't even remember where to start gettiing caught up.
I have a message from another time...I think I can find a guide for AT somewhere, but just remember: a lot of shit has changed. A LOT of shit.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?I had that in my mind ever since I heard Garnet's lines in the extended opening. I think that protecting Earth was Rose's main goal, but I don't think that was necessarily the reason others followed her. I don't think protecting humans was in the forefront on Garnet's mind back then, for example. Not that she doesn't care, specially now she have been living here for so long, but I think her main goal when joining the rebellion was to get away from the Homeworld.
As for Pearl, I actually not sure if that was a concern of hers back then. I mean, assuming she did belong to Rose, do you think Pearl even minded her situation? Rose's Scabbard's "flashback" heavily implied Pearl's main motivation to join the war was to be with Rose. I wonder how independent Pearl even was back then.

The interesting thing is that even though Pearl says in the extended theme that she's doing this for Rose, Earth is a place where she can be herself just as much as it is for Garnet judging by what we learned in the newest episode.

Forever liveblogging the AvengersWow people actually scared Matt Burnett so bad he had to private his twitter?
Actually I'm not that surprised, but I'm pretty ashamed of the people that did it.
I know, right? It is awful.
Exactly. If even now Pearl regards "being with Rose" as more important than "not being a slave", imagine back then. The last episode made her character to be even more tragic than I had expected.
Well, not being a slave is why she holds Rose in such an esteem. Whether socialization or programming though she feels a need to put a face to these feelings. An authority beteween herself and those feelings.
She can't be happy just because she's free to pursue her own wants and needs. She's happy because Rose LET her be free to pursue these wants and needs. She protects Earth because Rose would want that, not because its where she found freedom.

Thanks.
I await the fanart.
