Class changes... Eh, figure out what the better choice is, then pick the other one. Both class changes unlock exclusive weapons, and you can change between the two semi-freely, but it costs a Master Seal each time and there's slightly more than enough to class change all 7 of your party members twice. You can in theory get more, but I think that involves grinding them out through the arena.

As for what's the best choice... I recall that Itsuki is better as a Great Lord, and Mamori is better as a General. Can't remember what the others are right off hand; someone want to help us out here?

As for the Green Room... I think that's in the 106 dungeon.

Phew.

I just did Maori's first Side Story.

Lorenz roughed me up, but I beat him. I definitely need to get better at buffing and de-buffing however.

Ellie can learn Open Audition, but I'm missing one of the materials. Gonna take care of some requests, gather up some more Macca Converters for more weapons, then try and do Barry's first Side Story.

After that, I'll likely finally promote Chrom and Itsuki, (maybe that would have helped with Lorenz) and move on to the next chapter. Tsubasa also has a Side Story available, but it's for Level 47, and I'm only at Level 35 at the highest.

What the hell is a quest that high even doing being available so soon. I had to reset (fortunately, I hadn't done anything else) when I saw it.

It's her final or second-to-last one. I don't see the problem - it DID warn you.

Well, I'm gonna have to let it sit for a while.

Yes. I must have really buzzed through her other ones if I'm getting it so soon.

By the way. Is there a way to keep track of requests? I find myself forgetting them easily sometimes.

I know the game lists all the side stories even after you've done them, but the requests are hard to re-call. I suppose I just have to use the map function to look at the green ones.

Well, one piece of good news, you can abort a side story by starting another. And yes, Tsubasa's last side story does require you to be in your 40's at minimum (the higher the difficulty, the higher the required level). Kiria's last side story also has a level recommendation, but it's massive overkill for Normal difficulty by about 10 levels.

As for a request list... The closest thing you're getting is the Play Records list, and that only covers completed requests. It's one of the relatively few things I ding this game on.

Phew.

Finished all the requests I had and started Chapter 4.

Also Promoted Chrom to a Great Lord.

Right now, my biggest issue is that I haven't had a chance to test out all the Special Performances yet (because I don't want to waste them).

I''ve been getting Clap tracks (which re-fill the SP gauge) every now and then, but I haven't used those either.

I hope I get a chance to use all the specials in battle soon enough.

I think there's a Radiant Skill for everyone that increases the build rate of the SP gauge. Even without it, the gauge is easy enough to fill that as long as you're willing to do some grinding, you shouldn't have any real issues.

Clap Tracks, on the other hand, are indeed Too Awesome To Use under most circumstances, but they can come in handy during boss fights. I understand that they are particularly useful during the final boss fight, although I didn't get much use out of them myself when I beat him. I would assume the bonus boss is also a fight where you want a good supply.

Also, don't worry about running into the bonus boss by accident; you literally cannot meet him outside of New Game Plus. It's also part of a request, one of two exclusive to NGP.

Good to hear.

So I've been going through the second Dungeon. I think I'll catch on eventually to the gimmick (starting to figure it out) but what I really want to know is this:

Kiria is about to learn Megiddo. Learn, or don't learn it?

Sessions seem to be the bread and butter of this game, so if the attack can't session, it might be a waste to learn it, but at the same time....

Can't be blocked by any type of reflecting spell or anything. That could be really useful later on.

One of my biggest problems right now is that I a lot of my guys are running out of room for all their techniques, and I always feel like I'm choosing wrong when I decide what to keep and what not to keep.

Megido is a "fuck it" button. It's not cost-effective but it will always work.

I sure said that!

Even then, what would I get rid of to make room for it. That's the real problem.

Wait.

There is something I could sacrifice. I have both Bufula +1 and Mabufu (I think also +1).

If I ditch one of them (probably Mabufu) I can make room for it. I totally forgot I had both. I mean, being able to hit multiple enemies weak to Ice is good, but at this point, I'm still doing good with Sessions, so I got another way to damage other dudes if I hit hard enough.

Thanks guys.

I'd ditch Mabufu, but I think I've already made my love of single target skills clear.

Indeed.

The funny thing is, I might have given up some other good attacks for her (or at least stuff I could have used at the time) because I forgot about that.

That being said, Group spells have had their used. I've only come up against one enemy who repels any attacks. The others either are neutral, resist or Null. Null's not a problem because even if they aren't hurt by the attack, I can still hurt all the other dudes, kill the one who is weak to the attack, and then, if I have a long enough Sesson and hit hard enough, WHOOP THEIR ASS!

I'll likely need to be more careful as I go on though.

Phew.

Got a whole lot of new abilities, and finally got Mamori a new weapon. Now if she could just use Open Audition, I could start swapping around party members again.

I love it when everyone can join in on a session. It absolutely wrecks the enemy.

Itsuki learned Heatwave. I'm good with that, because he's got other single sword attacks (Dual Dispatch for armoured assholes, and Wyvern Slayer for when the inevitable dragon shows up).

Needless to say, I'm about ready to start whooping some ass. Took care of the first mid boss (took me a while to get through it, but it finally hit me that I needed to kill the enemies all in one round so they couldn't respawn. I never tried to switch party members so I don't know if it would have worked, but considering I needed the dudes I had in the party specifically, I get the feeling it might not have worked).

So yeah. Feeling good.

...Lets see, chapter 4 dungeon... Oh. That dungeon. You have my pity, and my lack of assistance with puzzles in this one.

Hey, if I had to suffer through figuring it out on my own, you can too. Meanwhile, I'll sit back and laugh at your misfortune.

As for the midbosses in this one... Yeah, gimmick city. These aren't the usual DPS checks you face off against, you actually have to think. Here, my lack of assistance will be because I don't remember them.

Also, the chapter boss... Ugh. Do not remind me of that annoyance. My advice, have either a pen and some paper handy, or have Notepad, Notes, or whatever the Android equivalent handy for that fight. You'll figure out why fairly quickly.

...The puzzle was the most straightforward thing ever, you just needed pen and paper to note what was on the screens in the monitor room.

And the boss is also quite straightforward if you just pay attention to the color it changes to. My only issue with it was not dying in the process as it spammed powerful moves.

Makarakarn wrecks the boss's face so hard once he enters the last phase, IIRC.

Before that, you can use the spell that nullifies magic rather than reflect it. I believe Mamori learns both.

[up][up]True, if you're paying attention, that puzzle isn't so hard. I wasn't my first time through, but at least the game gives you a not so subtle nudge if you fail it enough.

But the panel rooms... Eugh. I'm pretty sure I got a nightmare from one of them. Then again, I was going for totally clearing them out.

I believe Mamori learns both.

Good to hear. I've only just gotten her a new axe, but if more come up, I might see about learning them as well.

Sounds like I'll need to be careful with save files as well.

I've pretty much figured out the panel patterns. I might just keep rearranging them so I get it in rooms I can easily reached rather then running around too far. If that even works.

Right. Got to the LCD room with the panels.

Managed to reach the door that Taruchino went through and activated the warp point. Once I did that I tried to see if I could reach the other items in the room, but had no luck, so I decided to come back to them later.

Also took care of another side story with Mamori and got my hands on another Special performance for her.

I also got the first duo art with Mamori and Tiki, which I'm looking forward to using. I haven't seen an opportunity to activate it yet though. I know they said it happens when you see either L or R while doing a session, but I tried fighting some dudes to get it and nothing happened. I suppose I can't just expect it to pop up right away. Hopefully, I'll get more chances to try it so I can practice the timing.

Though I am gonna miss being able to sit back and let the sessions happen, since I now gotta pay attention to these things.

Also, I'm fricking rich. I've been racking up cash due to using Sesions all the time. It's great.

Anyway, back to the story. I'll follow Taruchino to the next room and see how things go. Right now, my only weakness is that Mamori still doesn't have Open Audition. She's the only member of my current party who can't use it, which means she's staying in until she gets it so I can swap more freely.

Alright. I learned that Attack nulling spell for Mamori, and I finally got to do her duo art with Tiki.

....This game is so anime that it would hurt if I didn't like anime....and it still kinda hurts.tongue

Now I remember WHY I didn't want to get it when it first came out. I didn't want my brother to know I had it. I'd have never heard the end of it (he's the type of guy who would have hated this game, and he can be really pushy about it because he's absolutely convinced he's always right).

Whatever. One more room and I'm done with chapter 4. Before I call it quits...

On the monitor, there's a picture that says something treasure room or whatever. Does that lead to anything, or should I just forget about it?
