Eh. Even Japan censored the game when it came out. Like Kiria's outfit when she's singing reincarnation.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. Not mah waifus!!! D:
Mileena MadnessWhich is why it didn't sell in japan at all.
So much for Atlus and No A saying it was not going to be censored from the japanese release. Chances are all the DLC will be removed as well.

Yawn. Call me if they edit anything important.
26,340 opening week abysmal sales.

Oh, come off it. It didn't sell because of the horrible marketing fumbles leading up to it, not because they removed a panty shot or whatever.
Trans rights are human rights.Do I need to go over why it bombed again? Hint, if they wanted it to sell it would've been far more censored upon release.
"Dang, the outfit that girl is wearing is slightly less skimpy. Guess I'll pass on buying since that's the only reason I was interested."
So, point me to the part where it says the game didn't sell that well because someone altered the outfit Kiria wears. Go on. I'm waiting.

Well, I suppose the part about the songs being a bitch to translate makes sense.
Still, this is gonna be out pretty soon, which makes sense. Without needing to find voice actors, bringing it over shouldn't take long.
Now I gotta get cracking on Xenoblade Chronicles X before this comes out.
One Strip! One Strip!@Memers: Apparently that was 40% of its shipment, which is still not good, but they at least didn't have crazy delusions about how much it would sell.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. In Japan retailers generally request the shipment size, so it's more a sign that they weren't confident. Though I doubt Nintendo had any more confidence in the title. They needed a Wii U shortage just to get rid of the bundles.
so this popped up a couple of days ago◊. Way before the announcement and they got the name change right, so I assume it is accurate. The last one has me extremely worried...

Man. Everything about this game kinda went wrong.
It's actually a shame. I hope this doesn't dissuade them from trying something like this again.
I mean, it seems like it's actually a good game that just had some really bad promotion (in addition to disappearing for two years after being announced).
It might have faired much better if they didn't talk about it when nothing had been done yet...
And left out the shit about Idols. That seemed to be everyone's Rage Breaking Point.
One Strip! One Strip!Idols and the Japanese only track are actually quite good and do sell to a western otaku crowd, which Atlus has built up itself via Persona. That crowd though wont buy stuff that has been censored, game after game have proven it. You have seen the stuff they pulled with the latest FE games expect it to be much worse here.

Remind me, did they actually talk about the game when the only trailer they had showed characters from Shin Megami Tensei and Fire Emblem? Any details other than the game was in the works?
And this article on some site supposedly proves that the overall poor sales was because of censorship? As opposed to a whole bunch of other factors such as mis-marketing and hype backlash?
I think it's mainly the fact the game they expected didn't turn out like they wanted. This is not like Kingdom Hearts where people gave it a chance despite it might not being what they thought it would be in the end.
Mileena MadnessTruth be told I think the idol concept is interesting & I honestly foresaw Atlas using these themes at some point. Its just well they picked the worst fucking game to use it on honestly. If this was honestly a separate game & not a very hard to see cross-over, reception would have most likely been more positive.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I'm kind of annoyed at the censorship simply because NoA has gone absolutely crazy with that lately. I'm against changing the content of a game for no good reason on principle.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Me, I'm only against censorship if it actually affects the quality. I often hear people refer to it as a slippery slope to explain why they have zero tolerance toward it, even if it's something they don't actually like. The sheer vitriol some people show towards any kind of censorship sounds like it's as bad as murder to them.
Thing is, in my case, if it was any one of the current examples on their own, I wouldn't care. However, the fact that there are quite a few examples in rapid succession rather annoys me.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! Its one of those nitpicks that just irritate you for no other reason than just cause it exists.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."In discussions about this one and FE Fates I've heard mention of a game called Bravely Second. That one was more seriously altered?
That's not a color scheme change. Use your eyes - they pulled a 4kids and put a digital bikini over a pink top.
