I don't think so, but then, I've not really paid attention to Skylanders, which is apparently the closest to what they're trying to do. What little I've seen of Skylanders suggest that they tend to do unique toys rather than multiple variations.
I'm sure Avalanche Software is aware of the lack of the older Disney characters and are probably just saving them for later. After all— and I'm borrowing a phrase the official accounts use— in Disney Infinity, anything's possible.

Which films were made after his death and before The Little Mermaid?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMAfter his Death
- Jungle Book (is technically one of the blessed 16)
- Aristocats
- Robin Hood
- Winnie the Pooh (Probably the only property during this period that is not ignored)
- Rescuers
- Fox and the Hound
- Black Cauldron
- Great Mouse Detective
- Oliver & Company
Though there are other movies that get ignored too, for example:
All the movies made in between Bambi & Cinderella (Make Mine Music, Three Caballeros, Saludos Amigos, Fun & Fancy Free, Ichabod & Mr Toad, Melody Time), Sword in the Stone (released BEFORE Walt died ironically), The Rescuers Down Under (Better than the original) and every movie released between Fantasia2000 and Princess And The Frog minus Lilo And Stitch and The Emperors New Groove (Dinosaur, Atlantis, Treasure Planet, Brother Bear, Home On the Range, Chicken Little, Meet the Robinsons and Bolt)
Though, Chicken Little, and Ho TR can die in a fire IMHO. Black Cauldron was a total mess to.

I'm having to learn to pay the priceI think it's Robin Hood, Black Cauldron, the first Rescuers, and Great Mouse Detective. Not their finest hour.

Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatThe point is, with a catalog spanning over 50 movies. Only 25, less than half, tend to be remembered at most.

I'm having to learn to pay the pricePipping Fool: What? I love Home on the Range! Every other movie in the group you put it in sucks though.
Especially meet the Robinsons.
I personally HATED HOTR. So different strokes for different blokes ey.
I'm having to learn to pay the priceI saw it as younger when it was new and at theater and I didn't exactly dislike it, but neither did I remember the movie on next week <_< I'd say it was really forgettable movie
With the exception of Ichabod & Mr Toad, I have never heard of any of those films.

Summaries:
- Saludos Amigos - the Disney animators go on vacation to South America! and also draw some stuff I guess
- The Three Caballeros - Donald Duck gets high and there's a parrot and a rooster
- Make Mine Music - Kinda like Fantasia but with more contemporary music
- Fun and Fancy Free - Jack and the Beanstalk but with Mickey Mouse; also there's a bear
- Melody Time - Kinda like Make Mine Music except...no, that about covers it
Oh god I hope this is better than Skylanders cuz it looks like fun but I dunno I'll see more gameplay before I'm satisfied. So who have we got for playable characters?
"Transform and Roll out!" Optimus PrimeWhich is a shame, because The Three Caballeros is a musical and animation marvel (and between it and Saludos Amigos we got Jose Carioca, who is one of Disney's more immediately appealing characters).
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. The Three Caballeros?! I LOVE The Three Caballeros! Probably one of my favourite underated Disney films! Yeah it is a real shame that Disney doesn't acknowledge the package films or other films that aren't popular I could stand Panchito and Jose Carioca in another cartoon associated with Mickey Mouse any day hell make a cartoon with Panchito and Jose starring alongside Donald for godsakes!
"Transform and Roll out!" Optimus PrimeIf I have guess...since it's going to be released in "August" of this year, Disney might reveal their final play set the launch of Wave #1 — sometime in July.
Logging off, Dr. Thinker
Logging off, Dr Thinker, a.k.a, Mad WritterI have heard of this game.
Are they going to ignore Disney Channel TV Animation AGAIN(Phineas and Ferb being, surprise surprise, the exception)?
Yep, I'm still here.i'd love to see Beck or Mike Chilton in this game.

All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.I love The Three Caballeros. And it's not as ignored as you guys think. I was at Disneyland a few months ago, and José Carioca and Panchito Pistolés were in the Main Street parade with Donald as The Three Caballero song and the Saludos Amigos song played.
Presumably the better the game does the better the chance that we'll see properties like Darkwing Duck or Rescue Rangers make an appearance.
Hopefully. I want to see Brandy & Mr. Whiskers, as well as Kick Buttowski.
Yep, I'm still here.I think the moment in the Disney Infinity that made me go 'damn' is when one of the people behind the game turned the sky into a water level and everything looked as if it was now underwater.
I want to know how grounded it is, though.
I am not the first time to the first time and the sender and the first thing is a few months agoStrange that Disney is launching this big ambitious project at the end of the generation.
every little word and every little stepThey needed to give this game mass production, ad since more young gamers have a Wii, they developed all their time and money making it Wii compatable. Also, I think they made it more for Wii at first.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceIt's not coming out for Wii, is it? I thought it was just Wii U.
Are those toys in the vein of action figures, in that they release 136 different versions of Batman before releasing a single Green Arrow?
