Fun fact: I have a conscious policy of never using in conversation trope titles that I do not consider obvious and fitting, except with other geeks. Yet I slipped once and dropped "anvilicious" with my family. It caused a moment of "what was that?" silence, even with people used to talking to me.
It is indeed an attempt to avoid some of the things that come up in threads like this, but then I've always found normal conversations difficult (both for form and content) and I have responded by formulating personal rules.
