Survival Horror (RP Interest/Sign Up) - Second time

Trying again after the first one died off. I'll try and make things better with this since lots of people didn't come and hang out in the RP thread, which killed it off for real.

How fast we can get to start depends on how many people are interested/decided on signing up.

The last thing you knew, you were placed in an abandoned subway platform. Alone, isolated, cut off from the rest of the world. You and probably your allies have no idea who placed you there.

Everything is dark. Except for an occasional working light or two on the ceiling.

But one thing is clear. You need to survive and find a way back before you are hunted down and killed.

The main thing is, you have no idea who your enemy is. The enemy is not the only one you need to face, but the problem of managing your supplies is the bigger issue in staying alive.

Rules:

Forum RP rules apply like no autohitting and godmodding.

Well, anyone Type 3 and below is accepted. Depending on things, some characters may need to be modified for gaming purposes.

You can use characters from any medium, including TV wrestlers. If you're using duo characters, just be sure that they are needed 'cause they are integral to the series/franchise's storyline and not cause you want to. In this case, they'll count as one character with two for the price of one.

No OCs allowed. Meme characters too.

If you want to swap, you can do it after your PC dies. If anyone wishes to use another character besides the one they have, talk to me about it first. We'll see what happens.

If someone wants to control a second character for use, just PM me or leave a post in the discussion thread. I'll look and see if its okay or not. If it's the latter, I'll tell you why.

• Name: Saito.
• Appearance: Find it here, What Saito will look like◊
• Universe: Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, post-Solid State Society.
• History: Former anti-UN mercenary operating in Mexico, he was one of the few people brought in by Motoko Kusanagi after her Mexican peackeeping tour was complete under the JGSDF. He began to operate under the auspices of anti-terrorist/cyber crime unit Public Security Section 9. Over the years, he had survived a conspiracy of a cabal of government officials to destroy S9 due to the Laughing Man Case, Goda's manipulation of the CIS to make the Asian refugees look like villains with nukes to have a small war in East Asia and the Solid State Society. As of SSS, Saito had just recovered from wounds sustained in battling out against a Siak Republic ace sniper named Raj Puhto.
• Abilities/Equipment:
  • Better cybernetics allow Saito to be less tired.
  • Has a Hawkeye, a cybernetic implant that allows him to sync up with a satellite to aid him in his sniping skills.
  • Can handle all kinds of small arms with deadly accuracy. Can also conduct unarmed combat.
  • Expert in infiltration/exfiltration tactics.
  • Can handle most vehicles.
  • Armed with a Seburo M5, a pistol chambered in 5.45×18mm Russian ammo, and a Seburo C26A, a submachine gun that fires 5.45x45mm bullets. Both firearms have suppressors on. For most unarmed combat emergencies, Saito is armed with shock gloves to render the opponent out cold if needed, depending on how the blows are delivered.
  • Has access to his Section 9-issued thermo-optic camouflage.
  • Is wearing a Section 9-issued Ninja Suit (I'm not kidding here) for most S9 operations.
• Remarks: He formerly fought in Mexico during World War IV as an anti-occupation mercenary and joined Section 9 afterwards.

I wanna chime in that if you did play in my previous attempt to do a Survival Horror RP that went bad since no one bothered to come back and play again and want to rejoin again, you can use your old character.

• Name: Zangief 'The Red Cyclone'
• Series: Street Fighter
• Physical appearance: He's bald, save for modestly sized mohawk, and has the hazel-eyed face of a thug. His questionably human and heavily scarred body is composed of several feet and three hundred and twenty-five pounds of muscle; a notable fraction of this goes into his dark brown beard, chest, back, and shin hair. His idea of modesty is an extremely small pair of red wrestling shorts, boots, and two tungsten-gold alloy bracers on his wrists.
• Abilities: Strong and durable enough to make a regular habit of wrestling (and winning against) Ussuri brown bears, which can weigh up to fifteen hundred pounds. He's also extremely resistant to physical harm (another must for one who wrestles bears) His fighting style consists of Russian and American pro-wrestling techniques, with a small number of basic and effective strikes to set up his opponents for his grapples. His tremendous weight, emphasis on grapples, and personal commitment to brute strength and stamina have the unfortunate side effect of making his extremely slow-moving and lacking range in his attacks. Has a profound hatred of projectiles in any form, and has his only explicitly energy-based move (Banishing Fist) devoted to nullifying them (though it does a number on the opponent as well).
• Personality: Zangief is a very simple man, not hard to read at all. He enjoys his 'work', the colorful places around the world his work takes him, and is a proud son of the motherland. His patriotism has not gone unnoticed; he's the official fighting expert of the entire soviet union, hand picked by Lenin himself. He'll rarely pass up on the opportunity to meet someone new, flip them over on their head, jump several feet into the air, and use them to soften the trip down. Despite an attitude to match his lifestlye, he's not unknown to be a pretty decent guy. He loves the fans of his wrestling persona, 'The Red Cyclone', so much that he defeated a good bit of the Street Fighter four roster to prove that his wrestling was real to one of his child fans.
• Other Details: He loves vodka. Is somehow nimble enough to perform the Cossack dance. Hates fireballs especially, due to both Ryu and Ken's...somewhat gratuitous....use of them.

List me as a 'maybe'. I'm wonderfully short on characters I can take from fandoms that'll play the way I want in SH. Most of them won't give two fucks.

That last part seems so funny.

Farfetched? Maybe not. But they would deal with Survival Horror situations very well, considering how much of each given day they spend dismembering each other, which is not really what I want to play, I want to make someone totally lose their shit.

I remember someone using Arthur Dent in my first attempt on a SH game.

I played the main pokemon PC.

Just cannot wait for Red to freak out in a SH situation.
