The problem is that the laser animation locks you as I have learned, which means that you sadly get about one kill with it. :c
I've just finished the main story with my Raider character, at level 35. What should I do next, a Rust Devil or a Child of Atom?
Child of Atom. More quests, central base of operations, WAY better rewards, etc.
Seriously, Atom's Judgement is ridiculously strong.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Starting my Child of Atom today. A Melee character with a Radium Rifle for ranged encounters.
Just got a download for version 1.09.
What's this one do?
Oh really when? It's probably the 1.7 Nuka World compatibility update for PS 4.
That was pretty neat. I laughed at cash ring up sound at the end for the cutting demos.
Who watches the watchmen?Finished my Child of Atom raider last night. The Atom's Judgement get's absurdly powerful with the right perks. Rank 5 Big Leagues + Rank 3 Lone Wanderer + enough Rads with Inquisitor of Atom + Rank 2 Nuclear Physicist = 975 Radiation damage per swing! That makes the weapon a 1 hit KO against anything not immune to radiation damage thanks to the Ballistic damage being 370.
I have enough time to make a 3rd Raider build before Nuka World. I plan to go with a Rust Devil this time, one that's able to use Heavy Weapons.
Gee the Story Teller seems to have it in for Lyons. I mean it isn't like he ever acknowledges that Lyons had expanded his group by actively recruiting outsiders rather then the occasional few outsiders joining or anything. Ssomething that became accepted instead of the old method that left the Brother Hood dwindling in numbers.

Who watches the watchmen? He is from the west coast though. No doubt he either would agree with the elders back there r was exposed to the anti-Lyon's propaganda.
#IceBearForPresidentEveryone has their blind spots. I'm sure the Storyteller is no different.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!I am afraid I don't agree on that point. On most other topics the Story Teller has been largely balanced and this frankly sounds like the creator has the bias not the character.
Who watches the watchmen?Guess it was inevitable this guy would let his biases show up.
Still a bit werid though as he was much more supportive of Lyons in the pre-storyteller lore videos.
What makes that weirder is how he went from the general balanced presentation to one that is an overt bias. The whole point of the story teller is interludes of entertainment acting as channels for explaining the lore.
Who watches the watchmen?Granted it does mean he's becoming more of a character than simply Mr. Exposition. Whether that's good or not varies though.
#IceBearForPresidentJust noticed the Nuka World trophies are up.
"Eyes on the Prize" looks grindy...
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Nuka World will be available to download tomorrow, 8 est 5 pst.
I haven't a clue how the hell they're going to make this consistent with anything in Fallout 4. I wonder if that's why Preston has the most dialogue of all the Companions: He's livid with you doing this.
Oh man, I can't wait to take all my Raider and enemy mob characters through Nuka World.
I learned to remove Fusion Cores from my armor when I foolishly exited the thing to go work a terminal in a factory, and a Raider got inside the bloody thing and decided to kill me from inside it.
Which he did.
