I was thinking "brigadier" for Froggy.
I'm naming my Tyrunt Gabutyra.
Goodness, you can just tell the anime will screw up the Pokemon sizes already, especially poor Quilladin.
Holy Grail, huh? Cool story, bro.I still see the Fighter/Mage/Thief motif, too - while its name doesn't evoke it, Frogadier's jumping abilities and its stance feel very ninja like to me. And also looks like it will be the fastest of the three.
Apparently, if you don't regularly groom the poodle, its fur grows back to being shaggy again. If the thing is actually any good in battle (and with an ability like that, it might well be), that could be a fun little mechanic.
Mega Garchomp has higher Attack and Special Attack, but lower Speed.
You can make PR videos at the salons.
Also, it seems they fixed Magnazone showing up as female in the Pokemon Bank picture.
Gimmick Pokemon are rarely ever good, I don't see why the poodle would be any different.
I am glad there's customization too though. I wonder how you'll get clothes - reward from contests/gym thingos, or just buy em someplace? It'd be pretty funny to cosplay the gym leaders too.
That quote in the PR image ._.

Holy Grail, huh? Cool story, bro.Chespin/Quilladin is definitely gonna have good HP, high Def/Sp Def, good Attack, and so-so Sp Atk and Speed.
Fennekin/Braixen will probably have an Alakazam/Gardevoir-esque stat distribution.
Froakie/Frogadier will have Snivy-like distribution I reckon.
Which isn't bad if it's not held back by Snivy-like movepool shallowness.
I think Quilladin will have strong Defence, maybe weak special defence in comparison. Braixen will obviously be special attack and I think Frogadier will mostly be speed, with little defence if any.
Frogadier is totally a Dragoon
don't jinx it :O
Also, are these PR videos basically customized trainer intros for battle, or are they something else entirely? And is this the last big news dump until game release ;_;

Holy Grail, huh? Cool story, bro.lol.if you dont groom Furfrou for a few days it becomes wild haired again
Secret SignatureBrigadier works way better, yes.
Braixen is probably "braise" + "vixen". It helps that it's (well, can be) a literal vixen.

I'm keeping my Furfrou unkempt.
Also, Water types generally have better move pools than Grass types. If it's got decent Sp Atk Frogadier could use Surf/Ice Beam well, and does have Dark moves...
Disconnecting from PGL battles now counts as a loss.
I wonder how long it will take once the game is released for fan sites to have images of all the new Pokemon. I mean, with sprites I'd assume it's 10x easier.
Actually no, how long does it usually take for the Sugimori art to release?
Holy Grail, huh? Cool story, bro. That male Team Flare admin looks creepy, like I can totally picture those gloves being splattered with blood.
Whoever came up with the name "Tyrunt" deserves a gold star.
28 years.

Holy Grail, huh? Cool story, bro.not that long I guess.
It's not so much that models are harder than sprites. It's that I don't think they'll be able to break the game to get the data files this time.
I think Bryony is my favourite Flare admin.

Just noticed Quilladin has Mud Shot to deal with Braixen, and Frogadier has Bounce to deal with Quilladin.
So therefore, Braixen will get an Electric type move and will be Fire/Electric
Holy Grail, huh? Cool story, bro.If Froakie's line has stats like the Snivy line, that'll be cool. Just as long as he doesn't have a build like 4543773 Speed and 2 in everything else. Snivy's line could actually take an dish out a few hits.
Oh...Quilladin's flavor text on the official site!
Also, in Braixen's info section, I guess they kind of revealed that Vivillon has high Sp. Defense when they described Psyshock.
I love all the new situational immunities, too. Even without altering the type chart for them, those are some really useful buffs.
"There is no story. It's all drugs."There's a new section on Mega Evolution on the site, and there's a line on the Japanese site I don't see on the English site. It says, "There are other trainers in the Kalos region who wear Key Stones in other ways than the main character's bracelet." Which would seem to confirm for sure that NPC's can also mega evolve their Pokemon.
Well I would hope so. Where's the strategy if you never have to face it yourself?
Mega-stone bracelet thingos were developed by Team Flare in order to bring out a Pokemon's inner beauty or whatever the hell Team Flare were up to
Holy Grail, huh? Cool story, bro.
absolclaw: Quilladin did get taller. You just can't tell because it got significantly wider.
They seem to be going with a medieval theme with the starters. Quilladin = quill + paladin and Frogadier = Frog + cavalier?
