Pokemon X and Y - Gen VI for the 3DS (SPOILER WARNING)

Does anyone know what hold hands actually does? It doesn't seem to raise any stats...

I name my fairies after Moons.

Ganymede, Europe, Oberon, Phobos, Triton...

Lots of moons are named after old gods and fictinoal beings though.

My Sylveon is named Oberon.

So stuff happened, and I now I have a Diancie.

I very late realized that my Inkay's name, Mxyzptlk, would also be a decent male Sylveon name. (Before somebody starts with me, Bizarro is a little too obvious of a Malamar name.)

In other news, I think I'm finally done breeding and nicknaming my final team pool! "Just" need to Wonder Trade my extras, EV-train, and do the postgame, and then I should be okay to restart.

By the way, I haven't personally seen it come up yet, so: Did everyone remember to grab their event Vivillon off of Mystery Gift?

Apologies for the bump, but here's a new event.

That's right, a level 50 of Heracross or Pinsir for your X/Y. Both are level 50 with the Adamant nature.

This isn't as big of a deal as Diancie, but this is an event, and it's something. Especially since Heracrossite is the only legit Mega Stone I don't have.

Aegislash was just banned after a vote that was so close that even one more in its favor would have meant that it would still be allowed.

Not sure how I feel about this. One one hand, I hate playing against defensive Pokémon and I'm glad to see the fucker go. On the other hand, I don't particularly like bans in general.

I see the Pinsir / Heracross event is going to give players the Megastone exclusive to the opposite game. Neat.

Trade-value-wise, do people tend to perceive Pokemon that are technically nicknamed with the Pokemon's actual name differently from ones with normal nicknames? I'm considering getting a Power Save to clone my Shiny Wartortle wih the name "Blastoise". (The original already has a nickname.)

Edit: I'm going for it! If anyone wants a cloned shiny, flawless IV Modest male Wartortle (nicknamed Blastoise by default) with Rain Dish, Aura Sphere, and Dragon Pulse, drop me a line, though I won't be able to clone for a few days. Nicknames negotiable until I reset; after that I'll have a few preset options. Non-hacked, but bred from an RNG-manipulated Ditto and cloned.

Double post, but I also have a 6IV German Ditto I have permission to redistribute now, if anyone wants a clone.

Am I the only one that couldn't take some stuff seriously because of the chibi art style? 3D models are different from sprites and made everyone look like a kid XD

Am I the only guy here who finds the main story too easy or am I Level Grinding with the Exp.Share? Because I just beat the 6th Gth Gym Leader by spamming Flamethrower with my Lv.50 Mega Charizard. And the other 5 were one-sided since I had my Frogadier/Greninja or Charizard do most of the work.

yeah,it's rather easy,Exp.Share or not.

I avoided Exp. Share for most of the game. I only used Amie to help evolve my Azuril, but even then it was fairly easy.

X and Y are really easy even by Pokemon standards, even without the EXP. Share. I know they have to be easy for the kids, but I wish GF would just add a difficulty choice from the start.
